Presentation

The Sirus V3 Atmo Perf Series is the wing that combines two worlds rarely compatible: the enormous lift of a pumping wing and the fast glide of a modern wing.

Many high-lift wings take off early but quickly reach their limit. They provide strong lift but generate a lot of nose-diving torque above 15 knots, become heavy underfoot, and don't handle acceleration well. The Sirus defies this limit: it provides enormous lift but continues to glide.

This places it between the Trail and the Veloce. The Trail is the easy and very reassuring pumping wing for learning to pump. The Veloce is the fast glide, freefly, and performance wing. The Sirus takes the lift and low-speed accessibility of the pumping world, then adds a glide and speed capability much closer to a modern wing, lowkite, and downwind wing.

Its ratio varies according to size to adapt each wing to its program. The smaller sizes remain very interesting in surf foiling, SUP foiling, light wind winging, or lowkiting in waves and light conditions. The larger sizes become machines for dockstart, flat start, pumping, and flying with very little energy.

Its specific outline centers the lift around the supports despite the wingspan. The rounded leading edge, inverted omega trailing edge, and thin tips maintain impressive maneuverability for such a large wing. The Sirus doesn't lock flat: it accepts carving turns, corrections, and trajectories.

The supercritical profile, with a marked hollow on the rear of the underside, provides enormous lift while maintaining impressive glide. The low camber, slightly negative at the center then almost horizontal towards the tips, maximizes performance and allows energy to be concentrated in pumping and trajectory.

The nose-diving torque is controlled. This is a central point: the Sirus doesn't dive nose down at the slightest acceleration, doesn't strain the back leg, and doesn't require compensation with a huge stabilizer or excessive nose-up angle. It maintains a healthy longitudinal balance, even when speed increases.

In wing foiling, it is unbeatable in lightwind. A revolution that changes the perspective on light wind. You fly before the kites, before feeling the wind. It allows you to take off in very little air, or even no air, maintain flight in lulls, and create apparent wind thanks to its high average speed. It doesn't just "lift in nothing": it continues to move forward and creates wind. It's a revolution on asthmatic spots, inland waters, and highly variable winds.

In lowkite, it is extremely coherent in light airs and on gliding supports. Its low-speed lift boosts takeoff, then its high range allows navigation without immediately ending up on a saturated wing.

In SUP foiling and surf foiling, it allows for very early takeoff, crossing soft zones, waiting a long time without benefiting from a wave, catching a small set or bumps at low speed, and maintaining a sufficient average speed to continue moving forward and chaining traverses in the lines for long minutes. It's almost like flying from peak to peak on the spot. Delightful. 

In downwind, it's truly the easiest wing for beginners. It will take off in a few paddle strokes but also accept strong accelerations in bumps. You get into the rhythm of the water without being overtaken by the trains, while maintaining an incredible low range.

Built in Perf Series, the Sirus V3 Atmo makes this exceptional program much more accessible with a solid, forgiving, and repairable prepreg fiberglass technology, while maintaining the V3 Atmo precision standard and the self-locking SuperLock connection.

The Sirus V3 Atmo Perf Series is the wing that reconciles enormous lift and fast glide: it takes off well before others, pumps far, glides strong, accepts speed, and remains maneuverable for a wing of this size.

Variable ratio

The Sirus range uses a variable ratio depending on the sizes, going up to 20! The larger the wingspan, the higher the ratio to maximise efficiency, glide, and distance covered with very little energy.

This approach allows each size to be adapted to its actual program. A small Sirus must remain manoeuvrable, usable in surf foiling, sup foiling, wing lightwind, or lowkite. A large Sirus must maximise lift, pumping, flat start, and long distances in dock start.

All sizes remain within a high to very high ratio logic, but without blindly applying the same behaviour to all dimensions. This is what gives a coherent range: each size provides significant lift, glides strongly, and maintains a level of manoeuvrability suited to its wingspan.

Outline

The outline of the Sirus is designed to maintain manoeuvrability despite sometimes enormous spans. The rounded leading edge and inverted omega trailing edge help centre the lift around the supports.

This centred lift changes everything underfoot. The wing doesn't give the sensation of an immense bar that's impossible to turn. The thin tips remain freer, the rail to rail is lighter, and the foil allows for corrections. This is essential in giant sizes to avoid being overpowered.

This is also what allows the Sirus to remain enjoyable in waves in smaller sizes, in sup foiling, surf foiling, wing foiling, lowkite, or downwind. You can carve, follow a swell, correct a trajectory, and exit a line without being completely overwhelmed by the span.



Supercritical profile

The profile of the Sirus is very high-lift on the central two-thirds of the wing. It provides a lot of lift even at low speeds, which makes dockstarting, flat starting, SUP foiling, light wind winging, lowkiting, and pumping easier.

But this profile is not limited to providing lift. Its supercritical design, with a pronounced hollow at the rear of the underside, allows it to maintain very high glide and an impressive average speed for such a high-lift wing.

This combination is what makes the Sirus unique: it takes off very early, provides a lot of lift, but keeps moving forward. It doesn't turn into a slow, nose-down, and saturated wing as soon as you pick up speed.


Camber and efficiency

The camber of the Sirus is low, with a slight negative curve in the centre that almost returns to horizontal towards the tips. This design results in a highly efficient foil, focused on performance.

With such large wings, the goal is not to create heavy or artificially stabilised trim. The aim is to maximise the efficiency of every cubic centimetre of the foil. The Sirus must provide significant lift, but without wasting energy on unnecessary corrections or forces.

This architecture allows you to focus your energy on pumping, trajectory, and reading the water surface. The foil remains stable, predictable, but above all extremely efficient in its programme: flying with very little energy and continuing to glide as speed increases.


Tips

The tips of the Sirus are thin and slightly twisted upwards to facilitate carving. They lighten the rail to rail and make the wing much more manoeuvrable than its wingspan might suggest.

These tips allow for better engagement in a trajectory, correcting a carve and exiting a line without fighting against the entire wing. This is an essential point for its use in surf foiling, sup foiling, wing or lowkite in the waves.

They are also designed with a wide protective non-sharp facet. This choice limits the risk of severe cuts in case of a fall on the wingtip and better protects the ends during handling, take-offs and contact with the bottom. The trailing edges remain sharp to preserve hydrodynamic efficiency and should be handled with care.



Pumping and glide

The Sirus is a highly efficient pumping wing, but not just for slow logic. It provides significant lift at low speeds, making take-off easier, and then maintains high glide to turn each impulse into distance.

In dockstart, it gives you time as soon as you leave the dock. You quickly feel the lift and can establish the rhythm. In flat start, the larger sizes open up rare possibilities by allowing you to take off on flat water with the right technique and support.

Its pumping is very economical when the rhythm is smooth. The wing glides far between two strokes, easily rests on its lift, and allows you to cover long distances without having to relaunch violently each cycle.

Every V3 Atmo front wing is designed to excel in its intended discipline, delivering the perfect balance of performance, ease of use, and control. The result is a foil that feels intuitive, efficient, and uncompromising.


Across the entire range, the V3 Atmo collection stands out for its exceptional glide.
Takeoff happens remarkably early, thanks to smooth, efficient lift that allows you to ride smaller wing sizes without sacrificing comfort. The more compact stabilizers further enhance this sensation, delivering a freer, faster glide.


This increase in glide, and the resulting reduction in wing surface, also boosts both top speed and average speed. With less material in the water, drag is reduced, allowing the foil to accelerate more efficiently and maintain higher speeds.


A constant profile across the entire wingspan provides outstanding stall resistance and excellent ventilation recovery. The foil remains flying at incredibly low speeds. It's truly impressive.


This gives riders more time to learn and progress through maneuvers, as the foil keeps gliding longer and more smoothly, with greater comfort throughout.


Tip-out tolerance is equally remarkable. You can ride confidently right at the surface, with the foil remaining exceptionally stable. Even breaches become barely noticeable.


Finally, the combination of the constant profile and an optimized composite layup delivers outstanding rigidity. The foil resists torsional flex, providing precise, responsive handling and a solid, confidence-inspiring ride.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

  • faster
  • more rigid
  • more resistant
  • lighter

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.
This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.
The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.
The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.
This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

For whom?

The Sirus V3 Atmo Perf Series is aimed at advanced riders who want to fly with very little energy, maximize lift, pump far, exploit light conditions, and maintain a foil capable of handling real speed.

It is not limited to a single sport. It is a very coherent wing for dockstart, flat start, sup foiling, surf foiling, wing foiling lightwind, lowkite, downwind and all practices where lift and glide are essential.

In dockstart and pumping, it is for riders who want to cover distance, take off more easily, and maintain economical flight. The larger sizes open up huge possibilities, including for heavier riders or those looking to break their distance records.

In SUP foiling, it is ideal for those who want to take off very early when paddling, exploit bumps, small swells, or soft waves, and enjoy sessions that would be impossible with a less lifting wing.

In surf foiling, the smaller sizes appeal to riders who want to glide in soft waves, extend diagonals, pump far, and connect without seeking short turns. A good level is required to manage the wingspan, but the performance is huge.

In wing foiling, it is unbeatable in lightwind. It is for those who want to take off in very little wind, maintain flight in lulls, create apparent wind, and continue to ride with a real average speed, even on asthmatic spots or inland waters with very variable winds.

In lowkite, it appeals to riders who want to exploit light winds on gliding supports. It boosts takeoff, maintains low-end range, and then accepts speed without immediately saturating the wing.

In downwind, it is truly the easiest wing for beginners, as it takes off immediately, provides a lot of margin in energy holes, recovers bumps at low speed, and allows you to stay in flight when the water surface offers little.


To avoid if...


The Sirus is not the right choice for starting with a classic foil. For learning the first flights, stabilizing your stance, and progressing simply, the X-Over or the Ascent will be more suitable.

It is also not the simplest wing for carving short or radicalizing the handling. Its wingspan imposes a more gliding, more poised style, more oriented towards performance. For sharper carves, a Curve or a Fluid will be more suitable.

If the main goal is pure speed, fast freefly, or downwind with a thinner, less lifting wing, the Veloce will be more logical. If the goal is very easy and slow dockstart for learning pumping, the Trail will be more reassuring.

The Sirus also requires respecting its wingspan. The larger sizes are not made for hollow waves, fast sections that rise abruptly, or spots that are too shallow. It loves small peeling waves, soft swells, bumps, spacious water surfaces, and clean lines.

For what?

The Sirus V3 Atmo Perf Series is designed to fly early, fly long, and maintain speed. It allows you to transform very little energy into a lot of distance, without suffering the usual speed ceiling of very lifting wings.

In dockstart, it provides massive lift and plenty of time to establish pumping. You can cover long distances, progress physically, and work on rhythm with a wing that glides far between supports.

In flat start, the larger sizes open up an almost unreal practice: taking off on the flat with the right board, the right technique, and enough physical commitment.

In SUP foiling, it allows you to take off very early when paddling, well before the wave breaks, and to exploit bumps or small swells with impressive efficiency, for long minutes.

In surf foiling, the smaller sizes allow you to enjoy soft waves, follow the swell, lay long diagonals, and reconnect without exhausting yourself. You adapt the style to the wingspan: fewer breaks, more glide, more rhythmic pumping.

In wing foiling, it completely changes the low-end range. It allows you to take off in very little wind, maintain flight in lulls, and create apparent wind thanks to its high average speed. It makes enjoyable flight possible before a kite can stay in the air, especially on inland waters, asthmatic spots, and very irregular winds.

In lowkite, it is very coherent for light winds. The light traction helps launch the wing, the lift allows early takeoff, and then the high range of the Sirus allows you to continue accelerating without ending up on a saturated foil.

In downwind, it provides a huge margin for beginners: immediate takeoff, lift maintained in flat areas without energy, recovery of even weak bumps, and sufficient average speed to stay in the game. It is the wing that makes the first downwinds much more accessible.

The Sirus is therefore the wing for impossible conditions, but also for riders who want to open a new register: less energy needed, more distance, more glide, more lift, and a totally unusual high range for such a lifting wing.

What size?






The choice of size depends heavily on the program, the build, the level, the support, and the available energy. The Sirus covers very different uses depending on the sizes.

The smaller sizes are the most versatile. They remain manageable for their wingspan and are better suited for surf foiling, sup foiling, wing foiling lightwind, lowkite, and riders who want lift without switching to a giant wing. They allow you to glide, pump, and connect with still control in the carves.

The intermediate sizes significantly increase performance. They become very efficient in dockstart, pumping, sup foiling, wing lightwind, lowkite, and downwind. They require more management in the carves but provide much more flight time and margin at low speed.

The very large sizes are dedicated to maximum lift programs: flat start, long-distance dockstart, pumping, and heavy builds. They are not made for seeking maneuverability but for flying when nothing else flies.

In dockstart, the larger the size, the easier the start and the more economical the flight. As you progress, you can reduce in size to gain speed and maneuverability.

In SUP foiling, the larger sizes allow you to take off very early when paddling, or even exploit bumps without a clear wave. The smaller sizes will be more suited to waves and more maneuverable handling. No larger than XXL.

In surf foiling, you need to stay reasonable. The smaller sizes of Sirus are coherent for soft waves and long glides. The larger sizes become too cumbersome to get up and surf properly. The L is great.

In wing foiling and lowkite, you will choose according to the wind, weight, and objective. Increasing size maximizes the low-end range. Reducing allows you to maintain more speed, more maneuverability, and more comfort when it accelerates. The XL is a must in low-end range. The L is super maneuverable.

In downwind, the right size is the one that allows you to take off early enough while maintaining enough speed to follow the bumps. Too small makes lulls difficult. Too large can limit maneuverability and the ability to hold a fast line. L and XL are great, no more.

In flat start, the larger you go, the more feasible it is. This discipline is certainly the most demanding at all levels. With a giant wing, you maximize your chances.

If in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one if the goal is low-end range, pumping, flat start, or comfort. Choose the smaller one if the goal is maneuverability, speed, and use in waves.

Which stabilizer?

The Sirus V3 Atmo works ideally with a stabilizer that stabilizes its strong lift without hindering its glide or breaking its high range. The goal is to maintain a balanced, lifting, and efficient setup while avoiding adding too much drag to an already very large wing.

A larger stabilizer provides more stability, more front foot pressure, and more ease at low speed. It is the logical choice for dockstart, flat start, large sizes of Sirus, heavy builds, or riders who want to maximize ease.

A smaller stabilizer frees up the glide, increases speed, and reduces drag. It requires more precision but allows, to some extent, to take greater advantage of the Sirus's exceptional high range. It is often the choice of experienced riders in wing, lowkite, downwind, or fast pumping.

The Sirus has been specifically designed to avoid compensating its lift with a huge stabilizer as soon as the speed increases. The stabilizer should support the trim, not heavily correct a nose-diving wing. This is a key point of its balance: a lot of lift in front, but a healthy longitudinal behavior.

The right stabilizer depends greatly on the size of the front wing. The larger the Sirus, the more the leverage and lift require fine tuning. The stabilizer should support the trim without generating too much parasitic torque or weighing down the foil.

The position of the foil in the boxes remains an important lever. If the foil lacks front foot support, it will need to be moved forward slightly. If it pushes too hard under the front foot, it will need to be moved back or the rear support reduced.

If in doubt, start with a comfortable stabilizer to secure takeoff, then gradually reduce to free up speed and glide. The Sirus can change character significantly depending on the stabilizer: easy and very lifting with a large stabilizer, faster and more gliding with a compact stabilizer.
