MATOS: EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTOR FOR YOUR FUSELAGE
Adapt your foil to your specific needs with the adaptor or the various extensions offered in our spare parts catalog...
Front extension to the aluminum fuselage for wind foiling.
The front extension to the fuselage is used to advance the front wing by 13cm compared to its position on a normal fuselage to compensate for the very rearward position of the fin box on wind surfing boards.
You can now use the entire range of GONG foils on your favorite windsurfing board without having to install a new heavy and expensive box.
This extended footing will also add stability to your set and allow you to progress more quickly. The flights will be easier because you will have more time to recover from your little errors. This extension is mainly recommended for wind foiling.
Don’t forget to combine it with a rear extension to gain longitudinal stability. The 8.5cm extension will be used mainly in wing foiling while the 16cm extension will be the most suitable for wind foiling.
At GONG, we wanted to offer you even more possibilities without increasing your budget and your quiver. A second fuselage would have been bulkier.
These extensions are compatible with all front wings and ALLVATOR V2 surf, wing and kite stabilizers as well as ALLVATOR V2 and ALLVATOR Original fuselages.
These extensions are to be fixed with the 4 Torx M6x12mm screws not included with the extension.
These parts have no play other than the 2/10ths required for assembly/disassembly. This micrometric play is essential but perfectly blocked by tightening the screws.
The only restriction is repeated jumps which we do not recommend. These parts are designed to withstand it, but this is not what we recommend. It’s great for cruising, not as much for sending huge rotations !
