GEAR: AN EASY FOIL WITH HIGH POTENTIAL!
Newcomer in the range last season, the X-Over is now a best seller for its shape that offers both lift and speed, tolerance and reactivity. It’s made for accessible beginnings and fast progression.
This very versatile foil is a bridge between your beginnings and your first performance foil. It’s a foil on which the learning curve will be the most intense. The sensations on this foil are close to our most technical foils. It has a huge potential. However, it can suit a beginner who has some experience in another board sport because it easily tolerates low speed flights. It’s the foil that we recommend to beginners that come to foiling through surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing. For a beginner without this kind of background or for someone that wants to gain confidence first, we recommend the Foil Rise which speed is perfect for your first rides.

The shape of the front wing supports the foundation to progress without limiting the potential:
- A large surface area that allows you to fly almost immediately and effortlessly thanks to a large support. This surface also saves you from oversizing and having to take a wing with a lot of wingspan that will be less maneuverable. The wing is compact which is a guarantee of maneuverability.
- A profile with an advanced chord for maximum forgiveness in the low range, making it easier to learn, maneuver, and take off early.
- A fairly thin profile (in proportion to the large chord, it is even very thin) but advanced which gives it a lot of efficiency at low speed, without saturating as soon as the speed increases.
- Slight upward twisting of the tips which makes it easier to place the wing into the curve for a “lighter” rail to rail underfoot.
- Supercritical profile as on all our wings to improve its glide.
- The X-Over is less arched than the Rise which makes it easier to recover from stalls for a healthier general behavior.
