FEEDBACK: COUINE MARIE SHORTBOARD

A feedback of Mickael who chose the Couine Marie Shortboard rather than his Mob to travel and who reminds that the shape of an inflatable board implies choosing a board with more volume than that of your rigid board.

SUPer: Moritz, GONG team rider, on the Couine Marie Shortboard.

“A little feedback on the Couine Marie Shortboard live from Chile.

Obviously it’s super practical to carry on the plane and there’s still space in the bag. You can put a lot of stuff in there. For my humble intermediate level and my 1m95 for 95kgs, I was quite optimistic about the volume of 205L. Well, it’s not distributed in the same way as on a rigid SUP so it isn’t as stable. Even if I’m used to surfing a 155L MOB in 8’6. The most difficult part is when taking off. The lack of rail and nose is felt. The positioning must be perfect. It can quickly go wrong or pearl!? On the other hand, once you’re locked on the fins and the PVC rail, it turns really easily and the changes of direction are quick. ??‍♂️”
