Based in the south of France near Leucate, Bastien discovered watersports at a very young age through windsurfing at around 6 years old. Since then, he has been constantly chasing wind and spending as much time on the water as possible, building a lifelong connection to wind and wave sports.

He was inspired to join GONG by the brand’s strong commitment to competition, innovation, and R&D, as well as the high level of support and development behind the team. His approach to watersports is built on versatility, combining racing, wave riding, and freestyle wingfoiling, while constantly adapting his style to different conditions around the world. Focused on continuous progression and pushing the sport forward through competition, testing, and content creation, he aims to keep evolving across all disciplines of wingfoil and compete at the highest level while exploring the best conditions globally.
