About

Based in Cape Verde and shaped by his travels and achievements at the world's best spots, Airton Cozzolino has built his career around a deep connection with the ocean and a life entirely dedicated to watersports. His international experience has forged his versatile and high-level approach to the sport.

It was thanks to Patrice and Malo that he wanted to join the GONG team, and he immediately identified with the brand's vision and energy, calling this choice "the best decision" and a "natural fit." Airton's strength lies in his ability to combine creativity, adaptability, and a deep connection with the ocean, which gives his style an authentic and dynamic character. A six-time world champion, he is proud of all he has accomplished so far and is now focused on the goal of going even further, aiming for his 7th world title.
