What is GONG Cashback?

As part of certain promotional campaigns, GONG may allow customers to receive Cashback after purchasing eligible products.

GONG Cashback is not an immediate discount on the order price and is not a cash refund. It is provided in the form of a personal promotional code that can be used on a future order.

This policy sets out the general rules that apply to all Cashback campaigns offered by GONG.

The specific terms of each campaign are stated on the relevant offer page. These terms may include the products that qualify for Cashback, the Cashback amount, the promotional period and the products or collections on which the code can be used.

If there is any difference between this policy and the specific terms of a campaign, the terms stated on the relevant offer page will apply.

How does Cashback work?

Cashback works in four steps.

1. Eligible order

The Customer orders one or more eligible products during the promotional period.

2. Order delivery

The Customer receives their order.

If the products in the order are delivered on different dates, the order is considered fully delivered on the date the last product is received.

3. Cashback code received

The Cashback code is sent by email 30 days after the order has been fully delivered, provided that all campaign conditions are still met.

This email confirms that the Cashback has been awarded and contains the Customer’s personal promotional code.

4. Cashback code used

The Customer can use the code on a future order, in accordance with the campaign terms and before the code expires.

Cashback eligibility conditions

To qualify for Cashback, the order must be placed during the promotional period and must include one or more eligible products.

All specific conditions stated on the relevant offer page must also be met.

Cashback is calculated only on eligible products that have been purchased and kept by the Customer.

Cashback is only awarded once the 30-day period following full delivery of the order has ended.

When is the Cashback code sent?

The Cashback code is sent by email 30 days after the order has been fully delivered.

If products from the same order are delivered on different dates, the 30-day period begins on the date the last product is received.

The code is personal and linked to the customer account used to place the order.

The Customer is responsible for checking that the email address registered on their account is correct and for checking their spam or junk folder.

What happens in the event of a return, cancellation or refund?

If an eligible product is cancelled, returned or refunded, either in full or in part, the Cashback amount will be recalculated based on the eligible products actually kept by the Customer.

If only some of the eligible products are returned, the Cashback amount may be reduced.

If all eligible products are returned, the Cashback will be cancelled.

The Cashback may also be cancelled if the campaign conditions are no longer met following a return or refund.

What is the nature of Cashback?

GONG Cashback is a deferred promotional benefit provided in the form of a promotional code.

It cannot be refunded or paid in cash.

It does not constitute a voucher, store credit or account credit.

It is personal and cannot be assigned or transferred to another person.

It cannot be resold, exchanged or converted into cash.

It cannot be refunded, even partially.

How can the Cashback code be used?

The Cashback code can only be used on www.gong-galaxy.com.

It is personal and can only be used through the customer account to which it was issued.

The code can only be used once and must be used in full on a single order.

It cannot be split across several orders.

If the order amount is lower than the value of the Cashback code, the unused balance will be permanently lost.

The unused balance cannot be refunded, paid in cash, converted into a new code, issued as a voucher or retained as account credit.

Only one Cashback code can be used per order.

The code cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

It cannot be used to pay delivery charges unless otherwise stated in the campaign terms.

The code cannot be combined with another Cashback code, promotional offer or promotional code unless otherwise stated in the campaign terms.

The products and collections on which the code can be used are stated on the relevant offer page or in the email confirming the Cashback.

How long is the Cashback code valid?

The Cashback code is valid for six months from the date the Customer receives the email confirming that the Cashback has been awarded.

The expiry date is stated in this email.

Once this period has ended, the code will automatically become invalid.

The validity period cannot be extended.

An expired code cannot be replaced, reactivated or refunded.

The Customer is responsible for using the code before its expiry date.

Fraud and misuse

GONG reserves the right to suspend, refuse or cancel any Cashback obtained or used in breach of this policy or the specific terms of the relevant campaign.

This may apply in cases of fraud, attempted fraud, misuse of the campaign or any use that is contrary to the purpose of the offer.

GONG also reserves the right to take any other appropriate action.

Specific campaign terms

Each Cashback campaign may include specific terms relating to eligible products, the Cashback amount, the calculation method, the products or collections on which the code can be used, combination rules and any other restrictions.

This information is stated on the relevant offer page and, where applicable, in the email confirming the Cashback.
