Droid Aramid X or Droid SP Aramid CZ?

Here’s a quick review after testing the Droid CZ 2026.
I usually ride the Droid X, so I approached the CZ thinking, ‘it shouldn’t be that different…’
Wrong! 😱
To sum up the difference I felt (coming from a windsurfing background) it’s a bit like switching from a rig with a 20% carbon mast to the same rig with an 80% carbon mast:

it looks similar; the overall characteristics are comparable

but there’s a clear boost / supercharged effect 🤩”
Stability and speed
“In the end, you’re fully powered from the very first gust, the wing locks in and feels super stable, and you suddenly find yourself wondering, ‘How do you even slow down???😰’
So really amazing overall. The only small downside: a bit more physical and slightly more technical to pump in light wind… but nothing dramatic.
Without making a bad pun, the CZ is a Droid, with that little something extra😘.
