The pack has also been designed to optimize its weight and volume. It fits perfectly in your car trunk and is easy to carry , making it convenient to access all the spots . All the foil components are cleverly stored in the compartments integrated into the HIPE bag. The wing fits easily with the board. In total, your pack weighs less than 19kg*. This leaves you room to add a wetsuit and/or another wing without exceeding the standard weight limits for long-haul flights.

The HIPE Like 2026

Its overall balance promotes glide before take-off while maintaining maximum stability to keep it accessible. With a more linear take-off that requires less effort, it makes the most of lightwind or inconsistent conditions by ensuring take-off so you can enjoy foiling in flight.

Available in 3 sizes, from 6’4 (120L) to 7’4 (150L), the HIPE Like covers the challenges of light-wind conditions and adapts to different rider sizes while following a clear logic: useful volume and efficient length for easier take-offs when conditions are not perfect.

In terms of feel, it is slightly less laterally “planted” than a HIPE First with equivalent volume, but in return it offers very easy acceleration feedback and superior efficiency in lightwind conditions. Once in flight, it remains predictable and forgiving enough to keep progressing, refine your lines, and approach your first maneuvers at your own pace.

Because it is inflatable, you feel safe. You don’t worry about impacts, neither for yourself nor for the equipment. And you try more things, more quickly.

THE FOIL X-OVER V3

The X-Over will be the ideal progressive foil for learning to take off, stabilizing flight and engaging in your first maneuvers.

An ankle leash for the board:

In 2026, we redesigned the composition of the packs to closely reflect a fun, simple and progressive practice , designed to help you progress without any hassle:

For smaller riders and experienced riders: the HIPE Like 6'4 comes with the Plus wing in 5m2 and an X-Over XL foil for a light, maneuverable and accessible combo ;
With the HIPE Like 7'0 , the Wing Plus in 5m2 and the X-Over XL foil, you will have the most versatile setup, ideal for the majority of riders ;
For larger sizes and very light conditions: the HIPE Like 7'4 comes with the Plus wing in 6m2 and an X-Over XXL foil which deliver power, lift and easy take-off .

So select the board that suits you, we'll take care of the rest!

The HIPE Like is a board designed for early take-off and ease of use. It's therefore equally suited to learning and light wind sessions. Several sizes are available to meet the needs of each rider based on their skill level, physical condition, and intended use.

Beginner:

You can take a volume sufficient to float easily, on the order of your weight + 60 = volume.

Example: I weigh 80kg + 60 = 140L to float. Which means that with 140L or more I'll be fine.

Comfort :

You can take on a sufficient volume to float, on the order of your weight + 30 = volume.

Example: I weigh 80kg + 30 = 110L to float. This means that with 110L or more I'll be fine, provided I have a good level of wing foiling skill.

What accessories?

Safety is of paramount importance for the practice of board sports, and even more so when it comes to foil sports.

Leashes are essential ; remember, they're your life jacket! Our HIPE Like pack includes a wing leash and a board leash. Check their condition before each session and replace them annually.

In addition, to practice in the best conditions, it is absolutely necessary to wear a protective helmet and an impact vest.

We have also developed a range of Bodyguard textiles , which provide additional protection against the risk of cuts associated with foiling. The risk is always present, but it is even greater during the learning phase.

We strongly recommend that you protect yourself as much as possible.

Once your safety is ensured, it's time to think about optimizing your equipment to support your progress ! Here's a selection of smart options to enhance your training:

For a smooth start , add a 65cm aluminum mast to your quiver. Its shorter length limits the flying height, makes learning safer, and facilitates foil control. It's ideal for first flights, shallow waters, or introducing younger riders to foiling.
For more advanced use , upgrade your Wing Plus with rigid handles for more precise control, or a removable boom : the perfect setup for gaining control and maneuverability, once you know exactly where to place your hands. Also add harness lines and equip yourself with a harness to relieve strain on your arms during long sessions or in strong winds.

Good to know:

Never leave your board in the sun, especially an inflatable board, and even less so a black carbon fiber board, which will heat up very quickly. You risk it peeling off!

Don't screw in beyond the bottom of the box, or you'll end up inside the inflatable. We supply non-through US squares, but be careful.

Never let your foil board get tossed around in the waves, especially near the shore. You must protect it from major impacts. A wave that sweeps your board away and rolls it can cause serious damage.
