Echo Twin Fins Set - ST Box
Program
A directional twin fin focused on drive, designed to draw long lines with control and high-speed stability.
Overview
The Echo is the most drive- and projection-oriented fin in the upright twin range. Its more raked template and significant surface area clearly position it as a directional twin, designed to use the length of the wave rather than pivot tightly. Where the Flash is about release and the Lunar about balance, the Echo is about drawing lines.
Its behavior is defined by a strong ability to maintain speed down the line. Once the board is engaged on rail, the fin generates continuous traction that stabilizes the trajectory and allows for long, committed arcs. Surfing becomes smoother and more grounded, with a strong feeling of control at high speed. It performs especially well in waves with long walls, where the goal is to link sections without losing momentum.
It allows for long trajectories, clean lines, and consistent speed even in fast sections. It is the ideal fin for smooth, down-the-line surfing.
Template
Raked twin upright directional template. The pronounced rake promotes projection and long lines. It stabilizes the board in its line and reduces tight pivoting.

Base
The base is wide, generating constant drive and excellent ability to maintain speed through long sections. It reinforces the directional character of the fin.

Depth

Surface area
The surface is generous, increasing stability and hold on the wave face. It allows hard engagement without losing control.

Setup
The twin setup is a configuration that prioritizes speed, glide and freedom. With only two fins, the board generates very little drag, allowing it to accelerate easily and maintain a natural flow down the line.
The feeling is very loose and responsive: the tail remains mobile, rail-to-rail transitions are fast, and surfing is carried with a lot of fluidity. The board turns easily, with a “loose” feel that encourages fast lines and spontaneous maneuvers.
This is an ideal setup for fast, relaxed surfing, using the natural speed of the wave with maximum glide and freedom in line choice.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
The Echo is aimed at surfers who prioritize long lines and flow. It suits intermediate to advanced riders. It is ideal for those who surf waves with a defined wall and want to draw lines without losing speed. It promotes a fluid and directional style of surfing rather than a radical one. It requires good wave reading. This is a fin for committed but elegant surfing.
What is it for?
The Echo is perfect for directional twins, powerful modern fish and performance twin setups designed for surfing more solid conditions.
It is ideal in point breaks as it favours long lines and offers strong control at high speed. It is a fin oriented toward flow and projection.
When combined with a trailer, it gains even more stability and precision, while still keeping a looser feel than a thruster.
What size?

Fin sizing mainly depends on the following factors:
- rider weight
- surfing style
- board volume
- surf conditions
A heavier or more powerful surfer will need larger fins to maintain enough surface in the water for grip and control.
A lighter surfer can use smaller fins to reduce drag and make the board more manoeuvrable.
Surfing style also plays an important role. A surfer who prioritizes quick turns and short transitions may choose slightly smaller fins for more reactivity. A surfer who drives hard through turns or surfs powerful waves will benefit from larger fins for more stability and projection.
In general:
- Larger = more grip and control
- Smaller = more speed and manoeuvrability
The more volume a board has, the more fin area is needed to control it.
Finally, conditions also influence the choice. In small or soft waves, slightly smaller fins help generate more speed.
In fast or hollow waves, larger fins provide more grip and security in critical sections.
In summary, the right size is the one that balances speed, control and manoeuvrability, depending on the surfer, the board and the waves being surfed.
Equipments
The set consists of two side fins (right and left).
