“I usually ride a Droid 4m X and weigh 72 kg. For this test, I used my Xiggy 6’7 with a Veloce FF 890.
I got to test the Neutra Light 4.5 in fairly light conditions, between 8 and 15 knots, which really gave me a chance to see how it performs in light wind.
Visually, I think it looks absolutely stunning. 🤩
Once inflated, the first thing that strikes you is definitely the weight... or rather the lack of it! 😅
It’s incredible how light it feels in your hands.
One important thing to know with this wing: you need to follow the correct inflation and deflation sequence, as the leading edge and strut are two separate sections.”
Riding comfort above all
“On the water, I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is in light wind. There’s plenty of power for take-off. It’s obviously softer than my Droid 4m X, but it still delivers good pull, allowing you to take off in very little wind.
But where I really loved this wing was in the handling. 🤩
You can place the wing exactly where you want it, and it feels incredibly smooth and light in your hands. You almost forget it’s there. I really love that feeling: it’s super smooth, light and comfortable.
Upwind performance is very good, there’s no flapping at all, and through maneuvers it’s an absolute pleasure. Jibes, tacks... the light feel in your hands makes a huge difference and makes everything much more enjoyable.
Overall, I really enjoyed this Neutra Light 4.5. The riding comfort is fantastic, and that feeling of lightness adds something really special, especially through maneuvers and while cruising.
