Overview

The Liner is the quad fin in the range with the strongest focus on drive and projection, designed to maximize speed and flow through every line. Its highly raked template promotes long, carving lines by stabilizing the board in the wave’s direction and minimizing energy loss. It turns any quad setup into a true line-drawing machine, ideal for making the most of long sections and maintaining effortless speed. Its geometry efficiently channels water flow toward the tail of the board, enhancing the feeling of projection and glide.

Unlike more pivot-oriented fins, the Liner requires a more committed and anticipatory style of surfing, based on wave reading and positioning. It excels in fast and powerful conditions, such as point breaks and reef breaks, where down-the-line speed is essential.

It is designed for surfers who prioritize flow, precision, and clean lines over radical maneuvers and abrupt direction changes.

Template

What size?

Fin sizing mainly depends on the following factors:

rider weight
surfing style
board volume
surf conditions

A heavier or more powerful surfer will need larger fins to maintain enough surface in the water for grip and control.

A lighter surfer can use smaller fins to reduce drag and make the board more manoeuvrable.

Surfing style also plays an important role. A surfer who prioritizes quick turns and short transitions may choose slightly smaller fins for more reactivity. A surfer who pushes hard through turns or surfs powerful waves will benefit from larger fins for more stability and drive.

In general:

Larger = more grip and control
Smaller = more speed and manoeuvrability

The more volume a board has, the more fin area is needed to control it.
