With its relatively long shaft, the Ascent provides exemplary longitudinal stability, ideal for working on your transitions without losing control, smoothing out your lines, and developing your carving skills.

Its versatile shape promotes intuitive handling while maintaining a high level of forgiveness to minimize the impact of piloting errors.

Right from takeoff, this stabilizer is predictable and reassuring. Its balanced lift allows for early flight and smooth maneuvering. Mellow outline

The 7.6 ratio of the Ascent stabilizer provides more glide and efficiency than a very beginner stabilizer, without losing the comfort and forgiveness needed for progression.

Its moderately crescent outline improves stability thanks to a good leverage arm, while maintaining a natural pivot. The foil easily enters the carve and maintains good directional stability.

The feeling is progressive, never abrupt. The Ascent allows you to go faster, turn better, and refine your stance without putting the rider in difficulty.

Versatile profile

The Ascent's profile is designed to perform across a wide range of speeds and disciplines. It assists take-off with effective lift when flat, then reduces drag once airborne.

Its wide speed range allows for early flight, stress-free acceleration, and maintains a stable behaviour during manoeuvres. The rider can progress without battling against the foil.

The stall tolerance remains high, making the stabilizer comfortable in slow phases, imperfect transitions, and the first more pronounced carving turns.

Positive dihedral

The pronounced dihedral stabilises the foil in yaw and provides true directional stability. The rider maintains a clean trajectory, even when their stance isn't yet perfectly precise.

This dihedral also frees up rail-to-rail movements. The foil can enter carves without locking in, with a gradual transition and a very natural feel.

Combined with the fairly long shaft, it results in a foil that turns smoothly, without unwanted lateral drift, with solid carving turns and plenty of control.

Medium connection +

The fairly long shaft of the Ascent softens the handling, increases longitudinal stability, and smooths out pressure errors. It's a real advantage for progressing without putting pressure on yourself.

This leverage allows for moderate stabilizer surfaces, resulting in less drag while maintaining a stable and comfortable foil.

The Ascent is positioned exactly between the X-Over and the Curve: more performant and lively than the X-Over, softer and more reassuring than the Curve.

SuperLock self-tightening system

The SuperLock self-tightening stab connection has been designed to guarantee perfect tightening even after hours long sessions.

The more pressure you put into the stab, the tighter it fits into the fuselage.

The pressure angle makes it very easy to disassemble the stab, even after long sessions.

This fitting only requires two screws under the stab, which makes changing the front wing easier and faster.

This tightening principle is already validated for several years on our V2 stabs.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

V3 Atmo, a new era

The V3 Atmo range marks a major leap forward in the design, manufacturing, and finishing of our foils. Reaching this new level of performance required far more than evolving the shapes. We rethought the entire process, from R&D to the finished product.

Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. Profiles, thickness distribution, transitions, fillets, connection areas, and trailing edges have all been refined to reduce parasitic drag, improve water flow, and maximize efficiency.

Our new production facility enables manufacturing in an ultra-clean, highly controlled environment with a level of precision approaching that of the world's leading aerospace, motorsport, and high-performance composite industries. Optimized extraction of solvents and dust creates better working conditions while ensuring cleaner parts throughout every stage of production.

Tighter control over every step, from material handling, layup, machining, and molding to cooling and finishing, delivers an unprecedented level of accuracy, particularly on the trailing edges. This controlled refinement minimizes hydrodynamic disturbances, reduces noise, improves glide, and contributes to the overall performance gains of the V3 Atmo range.

But the real breakthrough isn't just producing a beautiful part, it's producing the same beautiful part every time. Halfway between a X-Over and a Curve, ideal for riders seeking rapid progression and adaptability. All the V3 ingredients offer this program a masterful glide despite a contained ratio. The best for having fun and progressing far.

Designed for "all-terrain" riding, providing great stability and maneuverability, good stability and speed, it's the stabilizer that meets the needs of most conditions for intermediate-level people.

It's also the stabilizer for those who don't want a physical challenge in foiling. It performs well and is easy. No need to struggle with pumping or force everything, no: it's an easy stabilizer that makes everything you want to do super cool.

What size?

General guidelines for choosing stabilizer sizes:

The ideal size will depend on your board, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot, and also your front wing.

A larger stabilizer will facilitate takeoff as the foil will generate significant lift, which will tend to give it a high angle of attack. This also implies a more pronounced feedback under the front foot.

A smaller stabilizer will be more technical at takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. You also lose support on the front foot, which means you need to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain that stability.

Always adjust the stabilizer size to the size of the front wing to achieve balanced flight and harmonious operation between these two components.
