These Boards are shaped and decorated by L’Ours himself here at our Workshop in La Baule gives these Boards a distinguished “Made in La France” labeling.

Introduction:

The Catch is THE Board for killing it ion Freestyle with a Surf Board.

The Catch Shape has evolved quite a bit, notably with a large squash tail for pop and an almost fully squared nose. The Board is more rectangular for maximising you footing in the wind which optimises landings. Another big + of this Board: its monstrous pop.

Its Rocker is slightly more marked than the Catch 2SK, but is still considered a low Rocker that gives serious stability and quick planing.

For control, its volumes been reduced with a minimum thickness through the tips. You’ve got solid footing on the Board, full control, no bouncing.

On the flat it’s a very nervous Board, ideal for Freestyle and upwind between two tricks. That’s its favourite playground. Her impulses are demonic. It truly is a great platform.

In the surf it’s relatively stiff. This means it has speed and impulse that are killer but its rocker will limit it in hollow waves. You can power surf with energy and for an aerial style.

Built in FSP 2X for a better compromise between weight/solidity and equipped with a 3D Function Pad that covers 2/3rds of the deck for comfort and maximum grip. The 3 Boxes are FCS II, for more rigidity and easier, tool-less, in and out.

Ideal Conditions:

Ideal wave size: ankle to shoulder.
Strength: at its best in mushy/normal waves.
Type: all conditions, even in the chop and wind.

Ideal wind range:

Less than 75 kg: 9 nds -> 25 nds
75 kg to 95 kg: 13 nds -> 30 nds
More than 95 kg: 17 nds -> 40 nds
Skill minimum: lightweight beginner.

GLOBAL

Rocker: tight for maximum speed.
Rails: hard at tail and soft at nose for that feeling 100% modern.
Volume: the minimum for mad performance in small waves.
Outline: ample surface area, tail buoyant, nose compact. Solid, reactive board that flys through the water.
Tail: diamond tail large for planning, the cap and for pop.
Nose: diamond round nose cutting through chop smoothly.

FSP 2X Kitesurf Technology

The FSP 2X technology is easily repairable when new in case of a Ding. The PVC foam of the sandwich is waterproof and prevents water from entering on everyday shocks. The EPS foam blank does not deteriorate because it is really protected from water. And the repairs have a much larger support to stick on and blend seamlessly with the surrounding material.

This technology offers, at an affordable price, the incomparable strength/lightness ratio of full vacuum PVC Sandwich.

100% Epoxy Board and EPS Blank Foam: solid and lightweight.
Deck, hull and rails in PVC Vacuumed Sandwich: incomparable strength and incredible dynamism.
Deck: integral PVC/Fiberglass Sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz Biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on sensitive areas.
Hull: integral PVC/Fiberglass Sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz Biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
Specific Foil reinforcements: high-density PVC block housing the two US Rail Boxes. Three layers of carbon cover the Boxes. Laminated PVC slats connect the reinforcement to the deck for maximum durability.
Rails: the PVC Sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good shock resistance.
Hot Coat integrated Tinted Resin: nobility of the process, weight reduction and solidity of the finish.
Matt custom finish, hand-made, for weight reduction and better glide.
