Description
Launched in 1989 as the first helmet designed for surfing, the Gath Neo remains a simple and lightweight model for head protection in board sports. Weighing only 360 to 390 grams depending on the size, it is unobtrusive during use and maintains a completely clear peripheral vision.
Its close-fitting design minimizes bulk, while the stretchy neoprene headband automatically adapts to the shape of your head. It ensures a snug fit and creates comfortable contact on the forehead, helping to reduce water running into your eyes. To choose your size, measure your head circumference at the center of your forehead, just above your ears. This guide is for reference only, as the fit may vary depending on individual head shape.
The impact- and UV-resistant plastic shell is paired with a multi-impact foam lining that doesn't absorb water. The chin strap uses a non-stretch webbing, a quick-release buckle, and a nylon-covered foam protector. The screws and rivets are corrosion- and saltwater-resistant. The Gath Neo is EN 1385 certified for canoeing, kayaking, and whitewater sports and comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
