Description

The Prolimit Mercury Steamer Free-X 5/4 mm is a full wetsuit designed for cold-water sessions, featuring a durable, neoprene-free construction. It utilizes FSC-certified NaturePrene2®, a more responsible alternative that is lightweight, flexible, and high-performing. With a 5 mm body and 4 mm arms and legs, it offers a good balance between thermal insulation and freedom of movement.

Thermal Rebound™ technology enhances heat retention by reflecting body heat while minimizing wind resistance. The interior combines quick-drying Zodiac2 plush and velvet linings to maintain a comfortable and consistently warm feel, even between sessions. The Neolight Heather 550+ outer fabric provides stretch and durability without adding weight.

The Free-X opening system makes donning the suit easy while minimizing water entry thanks to a secure top closure. The seamless back panel maximizes flexibility while paddling, and the FTM (Fluid Taping Method) seams ensure excellent waterproofing and durability. A wetsuit designed for extended performance in cold conditions.

Quad Flex offers maximum elasticity in all directions, while its grid-like weave provides added strength and durability. Combined with Heather Neolight 550+, it creates a unique-looking suit optimized for freedom of movement while enhancing robustness.

FTM Seams

Our Fluid Taping Method seam construction. Triple glued seams with the outside of the seam sealed of by a wider black carbon neoprene seal. The inside of the seam is protected by our glued and blind stitched technology. FTM taped seams are durable, watertight and keep their high stretch.
