Easy on all bodies of water and fast if you pick up the pace, the First Cruising takes you on a journey of discovery. Its very simple balance makes it accessible to all users. Its sharp nose cuts through the chop for effortless gliding. You paddle smoothly and cover distances with ease.

Its elongated shape and streamlined nose give it superb paddling speed. With each stroke, the board glides forward, even in choppy waters that its bow cuts through. It's truly enjoyable.

You can easily bring a child along, even two, or the necessary kit for an awesome picnic in the great outdoors. Just secure a dry bag under the bungee cords and head out on an adventure.

You can push your First Cruising in sporty/training mode, or simply use it as a diving platform or for relaxed sunbathing. You set the pace: it can do it all.

In a nutshell

Its shape, derived from our racing boards, is wider to gain stability. A beginner will feel immediately comfortable, while having a great reserve of performance available.

This shape is perfect for cruising, with just the right amount of stability in the rear half and a sharp nose for gliding over the water. It’s a clever adaptation of the thousands of templates we’ve developed over 30 years, enabling a performance that is both effective and easy to handle.

During a leisurely paddle, you’ll appreciate its smooth glide typical of inflatable boards, with its great fluidity. If you want to pick up the pace, its streamlined nose will accelerate easily. In more challenging conditions, its raised nose allows you to navigate chop calmly. The outline ends in a rounded square tail, providing stability, maneuverability, and speed.

For each size, the volume is significant, making it an accessible board and a true Swiss Army knife of SUPs. It’s a fast and maneuverable shape for all body types.

Inflatable FIRST Technology

The First range is an economical entry-level option. Don't mistake it for a low-cost pack from the corner supermarket! We are SUP specialists: the shape and all aspects are meticulously studied. Far from a supermarket board because an inflatable board also requires precision and reliability. As for the I-SUP range, it represents the highest quality available on the market of inflatable SUP boards.

The First boards are perfect for discovering the sport and for recreational use. But not only that, they also feature high-performance shapes. The I-SUP boards are ideal if you want to practice more intensively or indulge in the best.

The technology and certain materials used to produce the First and I-SUP boards differ. However, please note that the materials used for the First boards are still of high quality.

What Size?

The 11’6 x 32’’ Cruising:

Outings of less than an hour and a half on all types of water.
Suited for leisurely paddling. It glides smoothly in a straight line.
Recommended for individuals weighing less than 95kg ideally, but it's very easy to handle regardless of weight.

The 12’6 x 33’’ Cruising :
Outings of more than an hour on all types of water.
Suited for leisurely paddling. It glides smoothly in a straight line.
Easy for everyone to handle. No stress.

What is the difference between our First range and I-SUP range ?

What quiver?

This board comes with an adjustable aluminum GONG paddle. If you want to enhance performance, consider getting a MIX 30% paddle, which will significantly improve your comfort for outings lasting more than an hour. Lien vers pagaie

If you're into surfing, you can add a smaller First Allround or an ISUP SHORTSUP or LONGBOARD to your quiver.

What paddle length?

For a more relaxed surfing experience, a paddle +10 cm longer will be perfect.
For cruising, a paddle that is your height +15 to +20 cm is ideal.

Its length determines your paddling frequency and turning radius.

What leash?

The leash is provided in your pack. Check its condition before each session and replace it annually. It's your life jacket.

Good to know:

Never leave your board in the sun, especially not an inflatable board which heats up quickly. You risk it coming apart as the materials become soft in the heat.
Never store it under a car window or near a heat source.
Never let your board be battered by waves, especially at the shore. You must protect it from major efforts. A wave that carries your board and rolls it can cause damage.
Don't hold onto the leash indefinitely as it can break under very strong tension. Avoid large waves and don't resist. If it breaks, it's frustrating but easy to replace.
Avoid oysters: they are one of the few shellfish that can cut your board and make it sink in seconds. Be very cautious.
Don't let your inflatable board rub against something for a long time. For example, it can happen on a boat that your board moves with every wave and rubs for hours in the same spot. The material will degrade as if it were sanded. You'll have a hole that needs to be patched.
Never put the board between the wave and yourself: risk of injury such as a broken nose.
Don't paddle out to sea in onshore winds, and avoid windy outings as they are rarely pleasant and always dangerous. SUP is an activity that carries real risks, even in seemingly calm conditions. Always anticipate these risks and protect yourself.

Equipments

The First Cruising comes with a US center fin. Knowing that the fin accounts for 50% of a board's performance, GONG had to offer a relevant solution. That's why our inflatable SUPs come with a US box for the center fin. It's the high-end standard for SUPs, offering a huge choice of fins to adapt to your level, your practice, and the conditions.

The paddle is included in the pack! It's adjustable and perfect for beginners.

The GONG leash, included in the pack, is essential for using the FIRST CRUISING safely. It's a quality leash, with a comfortable ankle attachment, and it's sturdy.

The First Cruising is equipped with a padded central handle and neoprene to carry the board under your arm.

The bungee cord at the front of the board is minimalist and super practical for securing a dry bag or holding the paddle. It's perfect for carrying safety equipment, water, and snacks.

The large diameter leash ring is the strongest on the market.

The Deck Pad is specially designed to be effective and comfortable. It provides flawless grip and allows for long sessions without fatigue or slipping. It's effective and enjoyable for both surfing and cruising.

The provided dual-action rapid inflation pump is super effective so you can be the first one in the water.

A repair kit is also included in case of damage (note that the kit does not include glue, which you can easily find at your hardware store: flexible PVC glue). Please note that we have in stock the components of your board to repair it almost as good as new quite easily.

Everything is delivered in a well-thought-out, sturdy transport bag, made of beautiful materials.

These backpack straps are very padded and comfortable.
