Presentation

The Pampa offers the best synthesis of both worlds : modern drive and retro style.

The Pampa is a semi-retro board with a pulled back wide point : super maneuverable.

Comfortable volume without excess, a width with the same tempo…..an incredibly beautiful Longboard on the frontier between an 9’2 Ten Blues and an Incredible Ten 10′ made for those who want to combine the magical glide of old school retro boards with modern off the tail moves.

Due to its pulled back wide point the Pampa offers a “classic” steering feel : a smooth trim and smooth turning in smaller waves. Not to mention infinite noserides. Even so, she can plane because its rails are soft without going to that 50/50 extreme.

She’s planned out at the tail so the Pampa is capable of accelerating by pumping if needed to get through the sections or blasting out rollers or for clean surfing when it gets big. The best of Retro with the vivacity of a modern Longboard.

Ideal Waves

Size: ankle to head high.
Strength: at its best in mushy waves.
Type: handles all sorts of conditions but prefers glassy, as do we all.

In a nutshell

Rocker: constant and low for generating the most speed possible and to facilitate cross stepping.
Rails: thin and sharp at the tail for laying it down and soft up front to forgive mistakes.
Volume: generous for early take offs and high performances, even in mushy waves.
Outline: a moderate maximum width and pulled towards the back for maximum maneuverability and a floaty nose for toes over.
Tail: diamond tail permiting maximum weight bearing allowing you to camp out on the tail even in the mushiest waves. Wicked maneuverability.
Nose: round nose, buoyant, for paddling and noserides.

PU Surf Technology

High Quality Material : Bennett Australian Blanks, Polyester Resin, Fiber Glass, Patented FCS2 Boxes. Materials chosen for their compatibility with our design specifications.

This is the traditional technology and noble of the artisan Shaper. It offers an unequalled feeling. It’s the reference for highly skilled Surfers.

Technical details :

Board, 100% Polyester Resin over Polyurethane Bennett Foam Blanks (50 kg/m3).
3-5mm High Quality Wood Stringers to avoid folding.
Deck detail : 2 layers of 6oz Fiber Glass.
Hull detail : 2 layers of 4oz + 6oz fiberglass or 2 x 6oz depending on the board.
Reinforcements : a large patch of 4oz Fiber Glass enshrouds the Tail and the Fin Boxes.
Pre-shape by digital control, and shape controlled by traditional templates, 100% Hand Finished.
Mat finish for a better glide, less sensitive to scratching, comp look.
This Techno is easily repairable, most notably with UV Resin.
Hydrophobic foam that sucks less water in case of damage.
These boards are 100% shaped and glassed in our factory in Asia, which strictly replicates our methods developed in France and tested worldwide.

These boards are equipped with a leash plug, a US fin box and a US GONG sinlge fin.
1 US central fin box for all types of mounting.
1 US GONG Full Fiber 10" single fin.
Concrete Fixed Plug at the tail so you never lose your board.
