This pack is the perfect solution. In one click, you are sure to have all the essential products for wing foiling, delivered in the bag of your HIPE First.

Each element of the pack has been carefully planned to boost the learning phase:

The pack has also been designed to optimize the weight and volume of your pack, especially when traveling. All the foil parts are cleverly stored in the compartments integrated into the HIPE bag. The wing is also delivered in a light bag to make the whole thing lighter. In total, your pack weighs less than 21kg*.
This leaves you room to add a wetsuit and/or another wing without exceeding the standard weight gauges for long-haul flights.

The HIPE First

Its width and generous volume make it super stable. This is exactly what you need during the phases before takeoff to take the time to find your bearings. It carries you without any problem to make your first reaches on the water. You can learn to sail and understand how the wing and wind work on the water before you fly. This is extremely reassuring for beginners to board and wind sports.

As it is inflatable, you feel safe. You do not fear shocks, neither for you nor for the equipment. Which makes you try more things, and faster.

Once you feel confident, its optimized length helps you gain speed and take off smoothly. Its comfortable length/width ratio allows you to learn to pump (“activate” the wing to gain speed) without losing your balance.

The Plus Perf Series V2 wing

This is the allround wing in our range, which will make you progress faster than any wing.

Featherweight, power, smoothness, forgiveness, maneuverability and visibility: it ticks all the boxes to allow you to do long sessions comfortably and go through maneuvers very easily. You will progress quickly.

Perfectly balanced, it positions itself very naturally in the wind and allows you to immediately find the right course. It’s almost autopilot!

Equipped with the interchangeable handle system to switch from textile to rigid handles or a boom, you can upgrade your Plus according to your progress. Freeride of course, but also Race with its powerful profile, wave riding and freefly with its lightness and even Freestyle with its compactness. The Plus can do it all.

An innovative board thought out in the last detail

PVC reinforcement under the plate to protect the board with an extra layer.
PVC reinforcement on the plate to protect the carbon and the glue from the heat, and distribute the forces as far away as possible on the plate to avoid detachment.
Double non-opening brass nuts connected by a carbon fiber rod to screw the foil easily and without the risk of drilling the board.

The X-OVER foil

The X-Over will be the wing on which you’ll learn how to take off, stabilize the flight and nail your first maneuvers.

The great strength of this foil is its versatility over time. Perfect for your first flights, its glide and forgiveness will allow you to go very far in your progression without having to upgrade your foil. Nothing is off the table with this front wing so have as much fun as you can with it.

It is an accessible shape, efficient for its volume and which will excel in all foiling disciplines: winging, prone foiling, SUP foiling, dockstarts…

With its early and gentle takeoff, there is no need to pump the wing frantically: everything happens very naturally. The wing is predictable and does not create excessive lift. You don’t have to put all your weight on the front foot to stabilize yourself. It is really the perfect wing to discover the sensations of foiling.

Its very modern profile opens up a very wide range of use. It accepts flying at very low speed without stalling but also impressive speeds for this kind of shape.

The X-Over is very stable but not locked. Thanks to its twisted tips and its negative dihedral, it is really a playful but very predictable foil that switches from one rail to another very easily. It is really a foil that will accompany you for a very long time in your progression without ever restraining you.

Buying guide

We have selected for you the preferred foil and wing size for the HIPE First that you choose.

So select the board that suits you, we'll take care of the rest!

The HIPE First is a board dedicated to learning. Several volumes are available to meet the needs of each practitioner according to their level, physical condition and use.

Beginner

You should choose a sufficient volume to float widely, around your weight + 60 = volume.

Example: I weigh 80kg + 60 = 140L to float. Which means that with 140L and more I would be at ease.

Comfort

You should choose a sufficient volume to float , around your weight + 30 = volume.

Example: I weigh 80kg + 30 = 110L to float. Which means that with 110L and above I would at ease, provided I have a good level in wing.

For your safety :

A helmet and impact jacket to protect you in the event of a fall and allow you to progress safely.
Our Bodyguard range products in anti-cut textile to limit the risk of injury from contact with the foil.

To make getting started easier:

An additional ALU V2 65 mast: Shorter, it is ideal for learning with confidence with less height, for shallow bodies of water, or for getting kids started.

To protect and maintain your equipment: (highly recommended option to guarantee its durability)

Good to know:

Never leave your board in the sun, especially an inflatable board, and even less a black carbon plate which will heat up very quickly. You risk seeing it come unstuck!!!

Do not screw further than the bottom of the box, otherwise you will pass through the skin of the inflatable. We deliver non-opening US nuts, but be careful.

Never let your foil board take a beating in the waves, especially close to the beach. You must protect it from major efforts. A wave that carries your board and rolls it can do serious damage.
