The goal is simple. We remove everything that isn’t essential, keeping only what truly matters: flight, efficiency, maneuverability, and feel.

These Aramid wings retain the DNA of the Droid and Neutra models, but in a construction that’s around 25% lighter!

A huge weight reduction that instantly transforms the feeling on the water. This lightness above all delivers a wing that feels more alive and intuitive:

smoother transitions
more natural freefly
a wing that disappears during maneuvers

Pumping becomes more efficient, control more precise, and the sense of freedom even stronger. Earlier takeoff and improved comfort in light wind are clear benefits too, but it’s above all in the overall in-flight behavior that this ultra-light construction radically changes the experience.

Development of Aramid Light technology

Aramid Light technology is based on a highly targeted weight-saving approach: 55 g canopy fabric, simplified leading edge, three-section central strut, 0.06 mm lightweight bladders, no One Pump, no leading-edge zipper, fewer seams, fewer assemblies, and reinforcements reduced to the essential. Material is only used where it directly enhances in-flight performance.
This minimalism is not about accepting fragility, it’s about pursuing performance. Critical areas remain reinforced, assemblies are optimized, and the structure retains the reliability needed for high-performance riding. However, these wings require more care than more reinforced models: they are designed to fly, pump, surf, jump, and glide. But not to be dragged on the sand or mishandled on land.
An Aramid Light wing not only gets you up earlier but also allows you to use a larger size without suffering the weight. A 5.5 m² Light can feel close in weight to a traditional 4.5 m², depending on the model. A real advantage for saving sessions in light wind while keeping your shoulders fresh.

Droid Aramid Light

Designed for riders who want a compact, powerful, and explosive wing. It keeps the playful DNA of the Droid: pop, rotations, and strong relaunches for freestyle surf, waveriding, or freeride.

Its Aramid Light construction makes it more responsive, smoother to handle, and far less physical. It turns faster, repositions more easily, and follows your movements better in tricks and transitions.

Neutra Aramid Light

A wing focused on smoothness, flow, and discretion. Designed for light wind, waveriding, downwind, and freefly, with clean and progressive pull. In the surf, it disappears. In freefly, it remains stable and neutral. In the low end, it lets you pump earlier, glide longer through lulls, and maintain a pure feeling of freedom in your hands.

The Neutra Light pushes the Neutra DNA even further toward lightness, softness, and freedom. It is easier to handle in light wind, more enjoyable in freefly, and more discreet in surf.
