Hello,
This ZUMA was advertised for 9.8kg with pads. We have revised our copy for this year, with a board still in FSP, but lighter, at 8.1kg. :!:

Looks like I was lucky with this one :D

My fsp2x has exactly the advertised weight, can't be lucky each time.

Hello,

there is a significant difference on weight between FSP (2019) and FSP 2X (2020).
Despite FSP 2X is stronger than FSP (thanks to the biaxial), the 2X is way much lighter. The reason is clear: less paint.

On most of painted boards, the finish could be between 15% to 30% of the total weight. So if you divide the finish weight by 2 or 4 because you improve on this last step, it makes a huge difference.

Thanks,
GONG owner and shaper
