Freak 9'2 Delamination - Left in the Sun

Hi Everyone,

So last weekend I lent my board to a friend whilst at the beach, turn out they left it in the sun for an hour or so and when they returned the underside of nose had inflated and delaminated. Not Good!

I know this is something that will happen, especially on a black board, when left in the sun. I'm usually careful about it but forgot to tell this guy.

I'm looking for some advice about getting it fixed. It will obviously need to be done professionally, but does anyone have experience fixing this kind of thing? What will it require, anything I should tell the shaper about the construction, any idea how much a repair like this will cost.

The only way is to remove the carbon fiber with a router and to rebuild it but there is no garantee that the EPS underneath did not melt as well.
It is a big job for someone who has some experience of building boards.
