Beginner / Intermediate board for young girl

Message par nmpg » jeu. juil. 11, 2019 4:45 pm

What would be the best board for my daughter to improve her surf ?
She has 13 year, 160 cm and 50 kg and has been surfing for 2 years.
She catches waves, goes down the line and is starting to trim on the face of the wave.
I would like a board that catches waves easily, and suitable for small to medium beach break waves in Portugal.

From the Gong surf line I thought maybe the BATMOB 6'6 or the Catch 6'4.... Opinions ?

Thanks

Hi

My Sister has quite the same level and is 16 years old, 45 kg. She has an acidolly 8', easy for take off and perfect for long and cool waves, but a little bit too hard for beachbreak waves so we bought à batmob 6'10, it is better !

I would advise the same batmob 6'10. It depends of what she is used to, Dont take too small, step by step !

I dont know the catch but it seems it needs to be more expérimented to make the Best of it !
Karmen 7'11 fsp
Acidolly 8' wckf
Batmob 6'10 wckf
Fork 5'11 eps
Lethal 6'3 pu
Carter 7'3 origine

Same as eguimi, you cannot go wrong with the batmob. And keep some size, they do not have tons of paddling power generally at this age, 6'10" seems nice.
2019: 7'3" Fatal 105L, Alley 7'8" 105L & 8'1" 120L, Zero 9'0" 115L
2022: Mob 7'6" cool 120L, Alleys custom 7'10" 112L & 8'1" 114L
2023: Karmen custom 7'11" 118L
Surf: 9'1" XTR proto glider
