Hello,
ce n'est pas le sujet de parler de la Pulse ici, mais Pulse 5 pour ton programme
Merci.

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Hi
I´m wingfoiling since 3 months ago, and I can say that with my xl front wing and my 5 m wing the original I start flying with a 13knots gust, it is the minimum to start flying. Actually, I´m thinking about buying the superpower 6m I´m 65 kg. According to the wind range and as I have checked you are very realistic, do you think that the 6m superpower will cover my needs to fly in less than 13 knots?
Thank you very much

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Hello,
100% sure.
Of course you will fly earlier. But the most important is the power sensation you will have.
It means that even if you need a gust to lift the foil, when you are flying with the Superpower, you can't loose the flight !
I remember going out, the wind was droping down and down and down. But as long I didn't made a mistake on a tack, I was 100% sure to fly back with my Superpower 6m2. When I came back, it was only 6/8knots, I was pushed by the swell a little, sometime I had to pump, but I came back flying all the way.
This is why the Superpower is better on low wind. It creates an artificial feeling a super clean and strong wind even on shitty days.
Thanks,
100% sure.

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Oleeee thank you for your quick answer I´ll make numbers
Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
You're talking a lot about the 6m. How about the 9m. Is it still fun to handle in jibes and tacks. (for me 180cm height and 78kg weight). Or is it only for the bigger guys. Which gusts can it still handle? Thanks

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Hello,
my son of 50kg and 14yo uses it a lot in 9m2. So if he can handle it, everybody can.
The 9m2 Superpower is like a 10m2 for windsurfing or a 16m2 for kitesurfing: a big and powerful motor.
And that's exactly what we love on this wing. You need power: she gives pooooower.
Because the ratio is really low, maneuverability is not a pity. I can do almost all I can do with a regular 5m2 with this 9m2 Superpower. The only thing to notice is because you will use it in low wind, of course you can't jump or do trick that needs a strong wind.

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
It would be nice to see video of the 9 M in action.
Yes, i believe you (Bear) that it's is manageable, but i still even at 1.93 Meters tall, I am intimidate of the idea of sailing a 9 meter wing. A video of someone actually flying around with it would be much easier for my brain to accept. Sometimes seeing is believing .

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
I watched it again and you're probably right sorry
What I can give you instead Is my personal feedback on this 9 plus that has probably a larger wingspan than the superpower : I tried it this morning, during about half an hour. It's big, I was a bit intimidated when I inflated it. Then I lifted it the wind and I had absolutely no problem handling it. (I don't do tacks or jibe yet, I just try and crash for now)
I'm a beginner : this was my 7th session with the foil and in total 8th session with a wing (previous sessions were done with the 7m² original). No previous foil experience.
I'm 1.92m tall.
I'm quite happy because I had close to no problem to lift of on the foil while the wind was quite low (min 5 knots, avg 11-12 knots, max 16). I'm pretty sure I would have stayed floating on the water with the 7 original.

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Hello,
yes, then 9m2 is super efficient.
The prototype you have is less powerful than the regular Superpower, maybe 30% less. So imagine the real benefit you can find on a 9m2...
The deal is clear: If you want to fly below 10knots, you must do another activity like kitefoil or try a Superpower 9m2

Re: Tout savoir sur les Wings Superpower
Bonjour,
Merci.
