GONG SURF FOIL ALLVATOR V2 CURVE ALU CARBON
The foil dedicated to beautiful curves.
Surfing, turning, snapping, placing magical curves.
The Curve Foil offers lift, speed and extreme manoeuvrability.
With its relatively thin and very curvy wings, this foil is clearly oriented towards maneuverability. Their profile is the best compromise between tolerance and performance. Stalling is not a problem anymore because you know it will recover immediately. On the contrary, you can play with this to hit the lip, to ride the foam, to land airs: it will restart without any problem!
This incredible glide can be found out of the waves in the pumping phases where you go fast and far, while staying ready for the next curve on the wave coming in front of you. Pumping on this foil is based half on cardio and half on thighs ; a pleasant and efficient compromise.
In downwind these very maneuverable wings are fabulous because they allow an amazing range of speeds: from almost nothing to 25 knots. Their precision allows you to harness the energy of each bump. Thanks to the quality of its profile, the front wing gets into flights very easily allowing flights very close to the surface in order to keep the mast drag to a minimum : maximum acceleration !!!
However, this is not an exclusively professional foil. It’s still accessible to an intermediate foiler thanks to its tolerant wings. A beginner in foiling can quickly benefit from it provided he’s athletic, committed and experienced in his sport without foil. A good wave read with a pair of arms and you can have go.
The Rise stabs delivered with this foil are very efficient at low speed. Here again we will look for a great adaptation to all rhythms and frequency changes. Their shape for curves will guide you in learning the maneuvers. And their significant lift allows them to get the most out of small waves by giving more lift and tighter curve radius.
Our new 65cm Alu mast offers the widest possible program in surfing. You can go in shallow water and you have the necessary margin to pump without feeling like you’re flying on high heels. It gains in performance and modernity with this new teardrop-shaped profile. Its chord is wider to optimize hydrodynamics and limit drag. This also eliminates the phenomenon of mast twisting and thus offers sharper sensations in the surf.
The profile is also thicker to bring more rigidity and to offer a direct and incisive piloting which will surprise you even in very committed curves. This gain in rigidity will allow you to be much more efficient in pumping as well as in surfing thanks to a more precise feeling of the foil.
A new assembly part between the mast and the fuselage is appearing this year: the Mast Fuselage Connector. It’s a conical piece to fit in the fuselage with a 6cm fitting in the mast to eliminate any potential play between these two parts. You have the rigidity of a monobloc mast with a removable system.
The new fuselage retains its assembly system with the wings to maintain compatibility with all our front wings and stabs. The top plate is still gaining in strength
The whole results in an optimized foil, extremely powerful and resistant, with a frank piloting which will know how to take the moves without the slightest distortion.
This foil is completely dismountable to adapt to all sports at a lower cost and give you the possibility to replace a damaged part. A complete spare parts catalogue is available, to allow you to make it compatible with multiple supports (surf/SUP/kite), and to explore the full range of use of the foil in every sport and at every level.
The very curved shape of our wings favors maneuverability and limits stalls by ventilation. Holding on to the flight is also much healthier.
In practice, the emphasis has been placed on what in surfing is called “rail to rail”. If you look at the wings of the Curve, you won’t see any breaks; just a very smooth profile halfway between bulky shapes and extreme shapes.
Several wing sizes adapt to different builds and different wave speeds.
- The M-T has a 73 cm wingspan, 1150 cm2, 2,0 cm thickness for a volume of 1,1L.
In Surf Foil, it’s a small wing for good or light riders. It’s super manoeuvrable and healthy with a high Vmax if you have the needed cardio you for pumping.
- The L has a 77cm wingspan, 1350 cm2, 2,4 cm thickness for a volume of 1,6L.
In Surf Foil, this is an intermediate wing suitable for lightweight people who want an easy performance wing after their beginner wing, or for bigger riders who want a fast wing that is easy to pump and super maneuverable. The pumping/maneuverability compromise is ideal for fit foilers.
- The L-T has a 85 cm wingspan, 1450 cm2, 2,3 cm thickness for a volume of 1,6L.
In Surf Foil, this is an intermediate+ wing that is suitable for riders less than 80kg who want an easy performance wing after their beginner wing, or for bigger riders who want a fast and ultra maneuverable wing. The pumping/maneuverability compromise is great for sporty people.
- The XL has a 92 cm wingspan, 1900 cm2, 2,7 cm thickness for a volume of e 2,5L.
In Surf Foil, this is a large wing that is suitable for lightweight people who want a very easy performance wing after their beginner wing, or for bigger riders who want a fast wing that is very easy to pump and maneuverable. The pumping/maneuverability compromise is great for big and sporty foilers.
- The XL-T has a 102 cm wingspan, 2100 cm2, 2,7 cm thickness for a volume of 2,7L.
In Surf Foil, this is a very large wing which is suitable for lightweight doing dock or beachstarts, but above all for bigger people who want a load-bearing wing that is very easy to pump and which remains maneuverable. The pumping/maneuverability compromise is ideal for big foilers. You can weigh 100kg and cover great distances in pumping, link 5 waves without throwing up. It’s great in soft waves.
The pack is made of a Curve front wing with :
- a 40cm Rise stab for the sizes M-T to L-T.
- a 45cm Rise stab for the sizes XL to XL-T.
The new 65cm aluminum mast and the fuselage are delivered with the Mast Fuselage Connector for a conical assembly without play.
The 4-hole plate, with standard center distances, will offer you a perfect connection between your foil and your board.
The complete hardware kit with tightening key is supplied. Everything is delivered in a very practical transport bag to store and transport your dismantled foil.
Mast, plate and fuselage are made of aluminum for a tight price. The stiffness-to-weight ratio of aluminum is really interesting: It’s not about limits.
The wings are made in carbon, Kevlar and fiberglass on a high density PU foam. With a very large number of layers (often twice that of the competition) and compression at very high pressure and temperature, our wings are almost indestructible.
All our wings and stabs have soft “tips”. Their tips are rounded and voluminous to limit the danger. We invite you to be very careful despite everything. Also, the trailing edges are blunt so as not to be sharp.
The Pro Clear carbon technology is a real eye-catcher, and there’s more. The wings are even stronger in case of impact with the reef.
On this new range we have added a top hole to add a screw on top of the fuselage. The gain in stiffness is huge. Nothing moves, twists or vibrates. It’s absolutely perfect.
Your benefits are clear:
1. An efficient shape created by one of the leaders in the world of foiling.

Innovation is at the core of our products
GONG Foil Technology:
Our wings are made of 90% Prepreg 3K carbon, with more than 15 layers of carbon fiber in total. High tension points such as the joints and connections are reinforced with Kevlar to resist tearing and glass for tolerance. Moulded at high pressure and high temperature on a foam core, our wings are practically indestructible. Both rigid and floating, they are the perfect balance between contained weight and infinite durability.
This technology has been tested and proven for over three years without any breakage on 30,000 ALLVATOR foil wings. In the event of a violent impact on a rock, you can easily repair them and they will be as good as new.
You will never see a GONG wing open on a leading edge because our unique draping technique crosses the layers of fibres. So there is no parting line on our wings. The entire outline has overlapping gaps, just like the rails on your top of the range boards.
Masts, plate and fuselage are made of aluminum for a very tight price. We use high quality aluminum, extruded for the mast and CNC machined for the other parts.
This foil is completely dismountable to adapt to all sports at a lower cost and give you the possibility of replacing a damaged part. A complete catalog of spare parts is available, to allow you to make it compatible with multiple supports (Surf / SUP / Kite / Wing), and to explore the entire range of use of the foil in each sport and at all levels.
Please note that GONG is at the forefront of foil development. We have been at the origin of the creation of the biggest foil factory that produces the major brands today. 18 months of intense work and dozens of tools developed. So don’t imagine that our foils are made in a gloomy garage. We develop all our products according to the rules of the art, with many internal engineers, with state-of-the-art 3D software, countless tests, with a Team at the highest level. That’s one of the reasons why we can offer low prices and refined products: we know what we’re doing from A to Z. We do not sell freelance designed foils. Our teams are at work year round and dedicated to the development of our products.
For whom ?
You must have a good level to enjoy this foil because it is not as tolerant at low speed as beginner foils like the Rise is.
For what ?
It’s a foil designed for very high performance surfing in all conditions. Its ability to make tight turns, fly in a wide range of speeds, and reconnect smoothly when stalling, makes it the major support for modern and radical lines.
What size ?
On the flat, we tend to think the bigger the better. With some moderation though, but yes, that’s the rule.
In the waves:
- The MT with its 73 cm wingspan is for riders weighing less than 65kg in normal waves and less than 90kg in bigger waves.
- The L with its 77 cm wingspan is for riders weighing less than 75kg in normal waves and more than 85kg in bigger waves.
- The LT with its 85 cm wingspan is for riders weighing less than 85kg in normal waves and more than 90kg in bigger waves.
- The XL with its 92 cm wingspan is for riders weighing 80 to 95kg in normal waves.
- The XLT with its 102 cm wingspan is for riders weighing more than 90kg in normal waves.
A smaller rider will be able to use a larger foil in smaller conditions.
Flying a Curve M when you weigh 110kg is quite possible but you need a power other than the one of a small wave or pumping: jet ski, big wave etc…
What quiver ?
In surf foil :
The Curve surf foil is responsive and fast. It will therefore be perfectly matched with a Matata Foil or a Lethal Foil whose programs are clearly performance oriented.
In SUP foil :
Here too we will necessarily think of a high level board like the Flint to go with the Curve foil.
But we must not forget downwinds which can require more length as on a Zuma for example.
In Kite foil :
The 65cm mast of this set may be suitable for your first hours of navigation but will be limiting beyond.
In Wing foil :
The 65cm mast of this set may be suitable for your first hours of navigation but will be limiting beyond.
Positioning of the foil ?
For the GONG foils, place the top plate at the rear third of the US rails.
The more you move it forward, the more it makes the board pitch up. The further you move it backwards, the more the nose of the board dives.
Be careful not to move it too far forward. We often tend to forget to use the back foot, especially when we have a kitefoil background. However, moving the foil back a little forces you to put more weight on the back foot and gives a more harmonious attitude and reduces effort.

GONG WING FOIL ALLVATOR CURVE ALU CARBON: from 519 €
- We make quality products. We are not “low cost”.
- We sell simply without an intermediary thanks to the internet: direct from shaper to surfer.
- If we sold this item in a surfshop, it would cost 1039€ (taking into account traditional margins that we should offer to distributers and stores).
The dates of availability of all our products are written on each product page, in the size and colour of the product concerned.
These dates are valid at the moment you consult the site and/or place an order. It is possible that this product may be ordered a few seconds after your consultation. It then becomes unavailable. If you have placed an order, this change does not concern you: the product you order is still available on the date indicated at the time of your order.
We sell several thousand products per week. The stocks are therefore very evolutionary. But our management always shows you the real availability live.
If it’s available online: it’s available 😉
Some articles are proposed in pre-order during their routing to our premises. You can buy this article which will arrive at our place in a few weeks. This method avoids the fair to grab upon receipt of the lot and the disappointed ones who would not order within the hour.
Upon receipt, we will ship it to you as a regular order.
The times indicated on the pre-orders are 95% reliable. First of all, because we only pre-sell finished products that are arriving to us after Customs, and therefore shipped right after. And also, because we add decent margins with concern to the dates announced by the shipping companies or railways.
However, a Worker Strike, a breakdown, an overbooking, can unfortunately happen. In the case of a delay, you will be notified by email (check your spam). It is generally less than a week and totally independent of our good will.
As soon as we receive the container in La Baule, we ship your order within three working days. Then the carrier takes over: delivery time and tracking numbers are under their responsibility.
It is possible that the date displayed on the online for the pre-order of the item you have ordered and paid for may change for two reasons:
- All quantities of the batch are sold (most common reason). In this case, orders placed for the first container will be delivered as scheduled.
- The container is late and we have to shift the date by a few days. (Strikes, breakdowns, overbooking, can unfortunately happen). You will be notified by email.
We never change the delivery dates of a container without notifying customers.
The dates that we announce are shipping deadlines, which GONG has in stock and available here physically.
We usually give a shipping time within 3 days, but in most cases, we ship within 24/48 hours. Normally morning orders leave in the afternoon for example.
Then the transport service takes over. The variables are then important between the customer being delivered to France (very fast) or Bulgaria (a good week) or to a forwarding agent or to Asia or the USA… You understand that each location has its own type of delay.
We work with serious and well-known carriers. They do their utmost to make you happy even if a snafu can happen. In any case, we are there to make things easier and to arrange our customers.
Contrary to others, we do not hide shipping costs in the price of our products. At GONG everyone knows exactly what he pays. The transport is charged at its strictest value, and the person who comes to pick up his products does not pay hidden transport fees.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address. To this is added a labour time of order preparation.
The invoicing of the shipping costs is identical in continental France and in the bordering European countries. A surcharge is automatically invoiced for deliveries to the most distant European countries and all European islands.
For a shipment in French overseas departments and territories or outside Europe, our logistics department will contact you before the payment stage to give you an estimate of the shipping costs. You will be able to accept this estimate and pay your order, or refuse it and cancel your order.
We answer you within 24 hours by email. But 95% of your questions are answered on the site. Try to use our contact form which will guide you to all these answers.
Don’t forget to read the Forum, where thousands of users exchange information and experiences.
In any case, don’t panic. If you don’t get an answer during the weekend, it’s normal: the team is resting 😉
We are passionate and professional in our job. Our only goal is to make you happy, as much as possible 😉
Tracking of your parcels :
The tracking of deliveries is directly ensured by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your parcels. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose the delivery methods and to follow the route of your package.
If you ask us for this tracking, we will have to do as you do: we will go see on the carrier’s app because they are the ones who manage and are responsible for this job.
We collaborate with the best transport providers to deliver you everywhere in Europe and in the world in very short delays.
We have chosen them for their quality of service and their respect of deadlines. 80% of your orders reach their destination in less than 48 hours of processing in metropolitan and continental France.
For Europe, the delays vary from 3 to 6 days depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delays can be up to 15 days.
Please note that the transport time is added to the preparation/shipping time. Two companies work on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one controls its activity and commits itself to optimize its delays so that you are delivered as soon as possible, in good condition and at a reasonable price.
Reception of your Board:
Upon delivery, simply open and inspect the condition of your Board in the presence of the carrier. A complete email explaining the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
In spite of our requirements and all the care we take in packaging and protecting your Board, transportation hazards may occur. Even if it concerns less than 2% of everything we ship around the world, a Board can suffer a more or less important transportation shock.
But in any case, don’t worry, just refuse it, and a new Board will be shipped back to you.
You can choose to return your products if:
- You are not satisfied (14 days right of retraction).
- You want to change an item.
- You have refused your package.
For each situation, contact us by our contact form to help you.

At GONG you won’t find any crazy assembly of parts from Foil copies thrown together by some Chinese guy and sold more expensive than us.
At GONG you will find the best quality at the price of direct sales without intermediaries.
The practice of the sport Foil may expose you to serious injury. A poor mastering of Foil may lead to cut, serious injury and/or including death for you and/or others.
Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.
Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.
Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.
Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.
When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.
GONG is NOT responsable in case of any and all accidents implicating a Foil GONG. The practice of Foil is undertaken under the complete responsability of the Foil User/Practioner.
