Paddling the NFA is done in total stability while maintaining heightened speed. We are well balanced and we can concentrate on the rowing. The best way to pass the bar quick and catch the waves easily.
In surfing, you drop into the bottom without forcing. The Board takes off immediately and with a bit of small pressure on the rail it engages into the curve. Two cross steps and you are on the nose for a ride on the flying carpet! Its width at the nose makes it a real platform for sticking Hang Tens and 360°s.
For beginners this front width is the guarantee of an essential stability. You are super comfortable and can take a light passenger for a ride: it’s a cool Board.
But don’t imagine it to be tame, because as soon as you put her tail into action, it will be cut back city, rollers and re-entrys. All you have to do is move the back foot back and its diamond tail does the job.

The NFA has long been the world’s best-selling SUP board. We offer it in 4 sizes in FSP 2X: 9’0, 9’0 XL, 10’0 and 10’0XL to satisfy all sizes / levels. Note that our SUPs are shaped by L’Ours, a true perfectionist and pioneer of the SUP; so your Boards will always have a shape close to excellence. So, no need to add 20 liters to be good. The volume is ideally distributed to give you just the right amount and preserve handling.
These boards are equipped with an innovative technology called FSP 2X for the best weight / strength / performance ratio on the market. The gain is significant since it is on average 15% lighter than the 2019 FSPs. The addition of a biaxial fiber greatly strengthens the board, so no concessions have been made on the exemplary strength of the FSPs, on the contrary. It is by designing a new finishing technique, as close as possible to our prototypes made in our French factory, that we have succeeded in saving weight. We work with tinted resins to avoid as much as possible the paint that loads the board unnecessarily. Paint integrated into the resin, your board is enhanced with nobility and durability.
The NFA FSP 2X re equipped with the 3D Function pad 2020 which is more resistant and provides maximum comfort and grip. In addition, we offer them with 2 FCS 2 Boxes and a US Center Fin. The NFA 9’ et 10’:

The NFA 9’ et 10’:
It can do anything and it’s easy. No need to be world champion, or to have perfect waves: it works!
It’s the longboard that will make you discover noses without being technically demanding.
The 9’0 is suitable for everyone. It’s the centerpiece of the range.
The 9’0 XL is the reassuring version of the NFA 9′. Super stable, it ensures maximum enjoyment.
The 10’0 displays all the qualities of the 9’0 with the amplitude of the 10′.
In XL, the NFA 10′ is certainly one of the easiest Boards. Ultra-stable, it doesn’t forget its modern Longboard program.
The NFA goes with everything and is indispensable. It’s the Swiss Army Knife of the SUP.
This immense versatility will allow it to eat a lot of the territory of other Boards, on the side of the cool ride, Noserides, 360°s, small waves.
It is not a Board that we will try to complete because it could do almost everything by itself. It’s different feelings that we’re going to look for in other Boards, mainly in different rhythms.
Its opposite would be an Alley or a Fatal. Hyper dynamic Boards that you have to constantly push within their limits and yours.
A good idea for a quiver is NFA + Karmen. There we have two tempos but we have common points on versatility.
A little more ambitious would be NFA + Mob + Alley (or Fatal depending on the speed and cleanliness of the waves). A versatile Longboard, a soft wave Shortboard, and a fast Shortboard.
It’s also the ideal girlfriend in the Quiver of a surfer who wants a maneuverable SUP to complete his surfboard collection with something that works in tiny micro waves. They will find a lively partner that he likes without having to collect SUPs to do everything.
Which Fin Mounting?
The 2+1 Fin mounting with identical lengths is a good base. In front of the Center Fin about 4cm behind the tips of the Laterals.
Take your recommended Fin size or just above. No less. You will need grip to control it.
Note that before the shape, it is the material of the Fins that makes the performance. Remember that the stiffer the Fins, the better it works. Yes, a pro needs good Fins, but an amateur also needs to go fast because speed is the basis of all maneuvers.
Reminder of the recommended FCS2 Fin sizes :
XS for those under 55 kg / 120 Lbs
S for 55 kg – 70 kg / 120 Lbs – 155 Lbs
M for 65 kg – 80 kg / 145 Lbs – 175 Lbs
L for 75 kg – 90 kg / 165 Lbs – 200 Lbs
XL for those over 85 kg / 190 Lbs.
Never take shorter, except when kiting.
A surfer who wants more speed, more beautiful curves, cleaner surfing, working on his speed gain, will take one size above the recommended size.
In a setup that mixes sets, consider that the total surface area of your Fins should always be the same. If you lengthen the Center Fin, you have to reduce the laterals.
These do the grip and acceleration; and the Center Fin does the pivot and drive.
Or on the 9’0 and 10’0 you can keep two big Laterals and mount a 6 » or 7 » Pivot, Click, or Connect Center Fin, which will give you more smoothness in the rail to rail, and make the rollers in automatic: you will have more difficulty to break the curves but it will be cleaner. The other solution which is the most versatile on the NFA 9’0 and 10’0 is to put 100mm sides and mount a 7 » or 8 » Pivot, Clique, or Connect Center Fin, one size larger than the previous mounting:
100mm Laterals + 6 » Center: not enough drive, it’ll skid out alot.
Laterals of 100mm + Center of 7 »: ideal for a maximum of mania and freedom in the curves.
Laterals of 100mm + Center of 8 »: perfect management of the turns and good noserides.
Laterals of 100mm + Center of 9 »: a lot of drive, probably too much.
Laterals of 100mm + 10 » Center: it’s too much unless you weigh 120 kg.

How Long Should Your Paddle Be?
Between your size and your size +5cm. A little length on a 12’0 is not a luxury, but never more than +8cm in the waves.
+15cm when cruising.
Take the length of your Board and a 10’0 for the 12’0. Less shoulder size, a reduced diameter (6mm) will make you gain a lot of speed. Anything above, you must have 7mm minimum.
Check its condition before each session and change it every year. This is your lifejacket.

We sell simply without an intermediary thanks to the internet: direct from shaper to surfer.
If we sold this board in a surfshop, it would cost 1739€ (taking into account traditional margins that we should offer to distributers and stores).
The dates of availability of all our products are written on each product page, in the size and colour of the product concerned.
These dates are valid at the moment you consult the site and/or place an order. It is possible that this product may be ordered a few seconds after your consultation. It then becomes unavailable. If you have placed an order, this change does not concern you: the product you order is still available on the date indicated at the time of your order.
We sell several thousand products per week. The stocks are therefore very evolutionary. But our management always shows you the real availability live.

Some articles are proposed in pre-order during their routing to our premises. You can buy this article which will arrive at our place in a few weeks. This method avoids the fair to grab upon receipt of the lot and the disappointed ones who would not order within the hour.
Upon receipt, we will ship it to you as a regular order.
The times indicated on the pre-orders are 95% reliable. First of all, because we only pre-sell finished products that are arriving to us after Customs, and therefore shipped right after. And also, because we add decent margins with concern to the dates announced by the shipping companies or railways.
However, a Worker Strike, a breakdown, an overbooking, can unfortunately happen. In the case of a delay, you will be notified by email (check your spam). It is generally less than a week and totally independent of our good will.
As soon as we receive the container in La Baule, we ship your order within three working days. Then the carrier takes over: delivery time and tracking numbers are under their responsibility.
It is possible that the date displayed on the online for the pre-order of the item you have ordered and paid for may change for two reasons:
All quantities of the batch are sold (most common reason). In this case, orders placed for the first container will be delivered as scheduled.
The container is late and we have to shift the date by a few days. (Strikes, breakdowns, overbooking, can unfortunately happen). You will be notified by email.
We never change the delivery dates of a container without notifying customers.
The dates that we announce are shipping deadlines, which GONG has in stock and available here physically.
We usually give a shipping time within 3 days, but in most cases, we ship within 24/48 hours. Normally morning orders leave in the afternoon for example.
Then the transport service takes over. The variables are then important between the customer being delivered to France (very fast) or Bulgaria (a good week) or to a forwarding agent or to Asia or the USA… You understand that each location has its own type of delay.
We work with serious and well-known carriers. They do their utmost to make you happy even if a snafu can happen. In any case, we are there to make things easier and to arrange our customers.
Contrary to others, we do not hide shipping costs in the price of our products. At GONG everyone knows exactly what he pays. The transport is charged at its strictest value, and the person who comes to pick up his products does not pay hidden transport fees.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address. To this is added a labour time of order preparation.
The invoicing of the shipping costs is identical in continental France and in the bordering European countries. A surcharge is automatically invoiced for deliveries to the most distant European countries and all European islands.
For a shipment in French overseas departments and territories or outside Europe, our logistics department will contact you before the payment stage to give you an estimate of the shipping costs. You will be able to accept this estimate and pay your order, or refuse it and cancel your order.

Tracking of your parcels :
The tracking of deliveries is directly ensured by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your parcels. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose the delivery methods and to follow the route of your package.
If you ask us for this tracking, we will have to do as you do: we will go see on the carrier’s app because they are the ones who manage and are responsible for this job.
We collaborate with the best transport providers to deliver you everywhere in Europe and in the world in very short delays.
We have chosen them for their quality of service and their respect of deadlines. 80% of your orders reach their destination in less than 48 hours of processing in metropolitan and continental France.
For Europe, the delays vary from 3 to 6 days depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delays can be up to 15 days.
Please note that the transport time is added to the preparation/shipping time. Two companies work on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one controls its activity and commits itself to optimize its delays so that you are delivered as soon as possible, in good condition and at a reasonable price.
Reception of your Board:
Upon delivery, simply open and inspect the condition of your Board in the presence of the carrier. A complete email explaining the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
In spite of our requirements and all the care we take in packaging and protecting your Board, transportation hazards may occur. Even if it concerns less than 2% of everything we ship around the world, a Board can suffer a more or less important transportation shock.
But in any case, don’t worry, just refuse it, and a new Board will be shipped back to you.
