Introduction

The blade The shape of the blade is very fast, both at rowing acceleration; and in surfing where it glides wonderfully thanks to its convex upper surface at the tip. When paddling, the outline is powerful at the head of the profile. The intrado is flat with a slight V minimizing water catch, but the rocker of this blade is very curved at the head. The catch is excellent. It’s a paddle that accelerates really hard, from the first paddle stroke. It keeps a small volume to lean on when stopped. While surfing this blade skims the water fantastically due to its specific tip shape. Its very close to a boards shape that has great rocker. The water flumes quick and cleanly. You’ll never feel like you’re being pulled back when leaning on this paddle. There is no bouncing when skimming the water either. Besides this paddle has no ridges. The Extrado and Intrado are both very fluid. In fact, when the blade is submerged while surfing it maintains its glide. It offers an incredible amount of fluidity on both faces and along all its angles. This point is very important for surfing and doing moves when switching the paddle. This guarantees some high level surfing. In addition to its dynamic qualities, the strength of the paddle is reinforced by an ABS edge which protects it over the entire length of its perimeter exposed to shocks. The handle The handle is a mini ergonomic T, very thin, ideal for long sessions without losing precision. The sharp T allows great precision while negotiating the blade in the water or out. Exiting the water is cleaner because your high hand perfectly manipulates the blade angle. The ergonomics have been focused on the faces and the tips of the T. No oversized volume on this handle, the ergometry is discrete and efficient. The grip in your palm is well tolerated and well repartitioned. The ergonomics were specifically designed for intensive utilization. Prolonged contact discomfort is erased, the tips of the T were particularly conceived to not mark the contours of your hand and assure you optimal precision. No worrying about thumb pain after a long session. Ergonomic AND efficient. The shaft The Pro model shaft is round with an intermediate diameter that adds to its lightness. It is more supple than our classic carbon models all while keeping the best dynamic qualities.

The length of your Paddle

The Maximum length of this Paddle is 220 cm, and is available at your choice :

Handle non glued/installed. To be cut and glued by the client so they may personalize their paddle exactly to their needs. We highly recommend a Dual Composite Epoxy (not included) for glueing the Handle.
Cut and glued by us to the size provided by the client (20 € addition). Please make note that this intervention will slightly delay the delivery.

We would like to remind you of a simple rule we go by to determine paddle size: When Surfing the Paddle should be equal to your own height, when Cruising add 10 cm and in between 10/20 cm for Race, in function with your board (dug out cockpits or not). This is the best performing paddle in the range, it is powerful yet lightweight. It works just as well in surfing as it does in racing.

What size Carbon Pro paddle?

Even if anything is possible, let’s point out the main uses:

The Carbon Pro 7” paddle

Size suitable for SUPers under 75/80 kg or to increase the paddling pace.

The Carbon Pro 8″ paddle

Size suitable for SUPers over 75/80 kg.

What quiver?

This paddle goes hand in hand with a rigid or inflatable SUP from our range.

Think about your personal equipment for your comfort with the right wetsuit, water, energy bars … and therefore the dry bag. But also and above all think about your safety because on this subject it is better to have too many resources than not enough (mirror, lights, tow line, survival blanket, etc.).

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.

For our shipments, we use:

Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
