This concept shape has become the reference of our range in terms of versatility.
The Fatal has a program somewhat similar to the Catch. Very freestyle and strapless oriented, the new Fatal is fast, full of pop and super maneuverable. But contrary to the Catch, the Fatal is ‘rounder’ with a pinched tail that’s great for tight turns.
This new shape is faster, and above all more stable at high speed. It’s obvious in its handling: you can engage more strongly in the moves! Its flatter outline offers surprising maneuverability in all types of waves.
It’s the perfect compliment to the Catch in the waves, and it maintains the needed surface for landing all the freestyle moves.

The Fatal has a fairly heavy rocker to perform in waves. It fits in the curves like the best surfboards.
Its outline is generous with a load-bearing nose and a tail perfectly refined by a pair of wingers of the most beautiful effect. You can go full throttle in the curves: it will hold and accentuate the turn as you press on the tail
The rails are thin because the overall board is radical. They are 100% surf.
The work on the hull is important to combine a strong grip on the edges and offer great handling. We go from a very large concave in the center to a double concave at the tail which directs the board in addition to the fins.
The length remains compact despite the small width to keep maximum radicality.
The FATAL KITE FSP 2X are equipped with a high-end pad for maximum grip.
These boards are equipped with three FCS II boxes to insert and remove your favorite fins without tools.
The multiple straps inserts allow all adjustments from beginner to Pro.
You can also use your board for surfing, a leash plug will allow you to never lose it. Nothing is missing.
These boards are equipped with an innovative technology called FSP 2X for the best weight / strength / performance compromise on the market. The gain is significant since on average 15% lighter than the 2019 FSPs.
The addition of a biaxial fibre reinforces the board, so no concession has been made on the exemplary solidity of FSPs, on the contrary.
The PVC sandwich forms a 3mm hydrophobic shell over the entire board. This PVC sandwich offers the best dynamism while preserving strength, at an incredible weight.
The 5mm wooden stringer is the ultimate barrier against breakage. Caught in the sandwich, the resistance of the whole is phenomenal.
It’s by designing a new finishing technique, as close as possible to our prototypes made in our French factory, that we have succeeded in saving weight. FSP 2X Kitesurfing Technology:
The FSP 2X technology is easily repairable to new in case of dings. The PVC foam of the sandwich is waterproof and avoids water intake from everyday shocks. The EPS foam blank does not deteriorate because it’s well protected from water. And repairs have a much larger support to lean on and blend seamlessly with the surrounding material.
This technology offers, at an affordable price, the incomparable solidity/lightness ratio of the vacuum-assisted full PVC sandwich.

Rather intended for pros than beginners, the Fatal is a large, accessible board. But a pro will get the best of it.
Tricks or surfing, the Fatal Kite can do it all as long as there’s enough wind to throw your moves.
Ideal wave size: from almost nothing to shoulder-high.
Power: at its best in mushy to normal waves.
Type: It can handle everything, even the choppy playing fields.
The Fatal kiteboard will work wonderfully with a Freewave that will maximize your performances in freestyle but also with a Unik in lightwind.
You can complete the low range with a Catch Foil when the wind is really light.
When the wind is stronger and the waves more substantial, a Lethal will allow you to be more radical. But in light conditions, a Matata will be a great option for freeriding or surfing in mushy waves.
The Fatal kiteboard is mounted in TRi-fin with FCSII boxes. You are free to assemble the set of fins of your choice. All FCSII fin models are available on our website.
Riding strapless is sexy because you feel free. You’ll find the sensations of surfing and the mobility on the board to play with the waves. It’s a very pure style of riding but difficult to master.
With the straps, you are sure that your board will stay hooked to your feet, even in the most committed aerial maneuvers. You will have a lot more control and performance will be a step above.
It’s up to you to choose between feeling and performances. Put your straps in the central position (3rd hole) for the front, and the same goes for the rear strap.
If you want to be able to remove the rear foot for transitions and surfing, place the rear strap on the first hole.

Availability:
The dates of availability of all our products are written on each product page, in the size and colour of the product concerned.
These dates are valid at the moment you consult the site and/or place an order. It is possible that this product may be ordered a few seconds after your consultation. It then becomes unavailable. If you have placed an order, this change does not concern you: the product you order is still available on the date indicated at the time of your order.
We sell several thousand products per week. The stocks are therefore very evolutionary. But our management always shows you the real availability live.

Pre-order:
Some articles are proposed in pre-order during their routing to our premises. You can buy this article which will arrive at our place in a few weeks. This method avoids the fair to grab upon receipt of the lot and the disappointed ones who would not order within the hour.
Upon receipt, we will ship it to you as a regular order.
The times indicated on the pre-orders are 95% reliable. First of all, because we only pre-sell finished products that are arriving to us after Customs, and therefore shipped right after. And also, because we add decent margins with concern to the dates announced by the shipping companies or railways.
However, a Worker Strike, a breakdown, an overbooking, can unfortunately happen. In the case of a delay, you will be notified by email (check your spam). It is generally less than a week and totally independent of our good will.
As soon as we receive the container in La Baule, we ship your order within three working days. Then the carrier takes over: delivery time and tracking numbers are under their responsibility.
It is possible that the date displayed on the online for the pre-order of the item you have ordered and paid for may change for two reasons:
We never change the delivery dates of a container without notifying customers.
Delays:
The dates that we announce are shipping deadlines, which GONG has in stock and available here physically.
We usually give a shipping time within 3 days, but in most cases, we ship within 24/48 hours. Normally morning orders leave in the afternoon for example.
Then the transport service takes over. The variables are then important between the customer being delivered to France (very fast) or Bulgaria (a good week) or to a forwarding agent or to Asia or the USA… You understand that each location has its own type of delay.
We work with serious and well-known carriers. They do their utmost to make you happy even if a snafu can happen. In any case, we are there to make things easier and to arrange our customers.
Shipping Fees:
Contrary to others, we do not hide shipping costs in the price of our products. At GONG everyone knows exactly what he pays. The transport is charged at its strictest value, and the person who comes to pick up his products does not pay hidden transport fees.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address. To this is added a labour time of order preparation.
The invoicing of the shipping costs is identical in continental France and in the bordering European countries. A surcharge is automatically invoiced for deliveries to the most distant European countries and all European islands.
For a shipment in French overseas departments and territories or outside Europe, our logistics department will contact you before the payment stage to give you an estimate of the shipping costs. You will be able to accept this estimate and pay your order, or refuse it and cancel your order.

Tracking of your parcels :
The tracking of deliveries is directly ensured by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your parcels. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose the delivery methods and to follow the route of your package.
If you ask us for this tracking, we will have to do as you do: we will go see on the carrier’s app because they are the ones who manage and are responsible for this job.
Delivery:
We collaborate with the best transport providers to deliver you everywhere in Europe and in the world in very short delays.
We have chosen them for their quality of service and their respect of deadlines. 80% of your orders reach their destination in less than 48 hours of processing in metropolitan and continental France.
For Europe, the delays vary from 3 to 6 days depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delays can be up to 15 days.
Please note that the transport time is added to the preparation/shipping time. Two companies work on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one controls its activity and commits itself to optimize its delays so that you are delivered as soon as possible, in good condition and at a reasonable price.
Reception of your Board:
Upon delivery, simply open and inspect the condition of your Board in the presence of the carrier. A complete email explaining the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
In spite of our requirements and all the care we take in packaging and protecting your Board, transportation hazards may occur. Even if it concerns less than 2% of everything we ship around the world, a Board can suffer a more or less important transportation shock.
But in any case, don’t worry, just refuse it, and a new Board will be shipped back to you.

Pour moi, c’est la planche qui se situe entre la catch et la alu, avec quand même un avant plus proche de la catch, qui pardonnera les mauvais placements de pieds. J’ai cette planche en 5’4 pour 1m70 65kg, avec un niveau intermédiaire. Un peu grande pour mon gabarit mais elle se ride très bien aussi pour celles et ceux qui recherchent du confort et notamment pour surfer dans de la petite houle, shorebreak un peu mou ou encore dans du vent léger.

La FATAL se situe ente la Catch et la Alu, avec quand même un avant plus proche de la catch, qui pardonnera les mauvais placements de pieds. Un débutant peut très bien commencer sur cette planche surtout grâce à son volume autour du pied avant, ce qui est primordial pour réussir les premières manoeuvres comme le jibe.
C’est une planche qui conviendra très bien pour naviguer également strapé et commencer à taquiner le freestyle.
J’ai également rider cette planche en 5’4 pour 1m70 65kg, avec un niveau intermédiaire. Un peu grande pour mon gabarit mais elle se ride très bien aussi pour celles et ceux qui recherchent du confort et notamment pour surfer dans de la petite houle, shorebreak un peu mou ou encore dans du vent léger.

Petit retour après quelques mois d’utilisation de la 5’4 pour 78kg. C’est une board que j’ai beaucoup aimé, j’ai surtout apprécié sa stabilité à toute vitesse avec une très bonne sensation de “crantage” lors des remontées au vent. Elle a une grosse capacité de upwind, stable dans le clapot. En surf ou tout du moins dans les courbes (je n’ai pas eu de “belle” vague depuis un sacré moment… 🙄 ) j’adore comme elle rentre en courbe, pas besoin de “muller” sur le pied arrière, bien au contraire, elle est joueuse en finesse!
Sans parler de gros saut, le nose bien large permet de sauter les mousses très facilement, une fois la board positionner face au vent elle colle bien au pied ce qui est cool. Je ne les jamais utilisé strapé par contre.
J’attendais l’hiver pour pouvoir tester dans de vrais vagues, mais pour le moment les conditions ont été comment dire… 😆 😆
En tout cas la planche est vraiment le couteau suisse de la gamme, super maniable et top prise au vent 8)

WOW. Incredible board for the usual onshore choppy days, loose with good upwind track. Build quality fantastic, board spec so good – fcs2 – full deck pad, can’t make any suggestions to make this water vehicle better.
