Unlike the concept cars that loose most of their assets in their production version, the innovations of the GONG R&D workshop fully feed the production models. This is the case for example on the new Matata Foil FSP Pro. This model is fitted with the complex hull of our prototypes which boosts the flow under the board. Its large double concave under the nose will both cushion the touchdowns and channel water to the tail. Then the tail ejects the water from both sides of the foil without waiting to reach the tail, this reduces the contact time with the surface. It’s both magical to surf and beautiful to watch.
In addition, the Matata retains all of its original character thanks to its low length / volume ratio which has been a benchmark in surfing, and in surf foiling for years. Very short, it has no inertia in pumping or when changing stance. This gives it a delirious dynamism and handling.
