After being the first to offer a high-performance inflatable solution for foiling with the HIPE, we are now expanding our inflatable range!

Since the launch of its unique 2-in-1 concept in the early stages of wing foiling, the HIPE has revolutionized the practice of thousands of wing foilers by providing a simple and practical alternative to rigid boards without compromising on performance, durability or safety. Quite the contrary!

The success of the HIPE led us to develop Pro and First versions of this flagship model for experts and beginners. Today, we offer a complete range of inflatable boards that covers all practices:

• The HIPE First to discover wing foiling and progress easily.

• The HIPE Free Fly for waveriding, carving and strapless freeriding.

• The HIPE Perf to perform in all programs without sacrificing comfort.

• The HIPE Pro for the highest performance in an inflatable format.

At GONG we do everything to share our passion and allow as many people as possible to go on the water with high quality equipment at low prices. The new model of the HIPE First maintains its level of equipment, technology and above all a record price.

The HIPE First is now available in a new size with the 5’0 for kids and featherweights complementing the 5’5, 5’11 and 6’6. Preflight stability is ensured by a generous width and a carrying tail that facilitates balance, especially on the knees. The nose is slender to optimize the take-off phase and limit the impact of touchdowns. On a First we aim for accessibility and sensations.

The perfect Free Fly board to travel with!

The name says it all! This new model is aimed at wave riders at heart that want pure glide with a light and practical board to travel. This is the board to take on a trip to a stretched out point break on the other side of the world!

The Free Fly is the lightest HIPE in the range. A pleasant quality on land and a delight to go from one rail to another in the waves. It is very lively underfoot, it’s really great in pumping and freeflying on swell bumps.

The tail is narrower than on a HIPE Perf for more liveliness in order to allow more committed turns. The ICS Pro plate, which provides flawless rigidity, hugs the rounded tail of this shape to let the water run off the tail and take off even earlier and with less effort. This cut provides great reactivity on the tail for precise carving. The wide nose greatly reduces the length. Inertia is minimal for maximum responsiveness. It really feels great when you have to pump to connect without using the wing.

This compact board is available in 3 sizes for intermediate level riders (4’6, 4’8 and 5’0 for 60, 85 and 100 liters) and delivered like the whole range in a well thought out transport bag with compartments for your foil parts .

Versatility with the HIPE Perf

In the continuity of the shape that made the success of the first HIPE, the Perf version is a real Swiss army knife with which you can do wing foiling, SUP foiling, surf foiling, kite foiling or wake foiling depending on the size you go for. It is easy get into foiling with a Perf thanks to its homogeneous volume distribution and great to get into all kinds of programs when progressing because it benefits from the same equipment as a rigid board and the same level of performance thanks to the 2-in-1 concept:

• A full composite plate that covers the entire stance of the rider for rigidity and an inflatable part for volume. A GONG innovation for a paradigm shift.

Versatility being the watchword of the new HIPE Perf, it is available in 8 sizes ranging from 4’8 to 7’5 to adapt to all levels and all practices.

High performance and the convenience of inflatable tech come together with the HIPE Pro

The HIPE Pro version raises the inflatable technology to the rank of reference for advanced level wing foilers. It has lifted the last reservations of purists attached to rigid boards thanks to a sharp shape, a full carbon ICS plate and a new fixation system.

The feeling on the water is clearly that of a rigid board with a shape that puts the performance at the level of a Lethal FSP Pro. The HIPE Pro provides the answer to the challenge of combining ease of use and performance on the water. An ultra practical format, which fits in a transport bag with wheels!

New 2023 equipment

• For the whole range, a transport bag that is considered as standard luggage with compartments for your foil parts, space for a wing or two and wheels on the HIPE Free Fly, HIPE Perf and HIPE Pro transport bags.

• On the HIPE Perf and HIPE Pro, new sets of more ergonomic and more comfortable GONG footstraps are provided. In single version at the back and in V format at the front for an ultra-balanced stance with both feet wedged in the straps.

• On the HIPE Free Fly, HIPE Perf and HIPE Pro, a new hard brush pad that allows more thickness on the entire board for absolute comfort. Finely ribbed for the best grip and great comfort.

• The HIPE plates are equipped with SCS double entry boxes to install and adjust the foil easily. The double entries correspond to the stance of the holes of the plate of your foil GONG. Just present the foil with the screws and nuts already mounted on the top plate and slide it all into the rails without dismantling anything. You basically just need to tighten the 4 screws and off you go.
