NEWS : NEW 77 HIGH MODULUS MAST!

A new size enters our range of High Modulus masts to step things up a notch in surf foiling, SUP foiling, DW and pumping!

The exceptional mechanical qualities of our range of high modulus carbon masts open up a new area of performance for fans of solid carves, tricks and pumping. Piloting precision and flawless foil feedback to which the HM 77 Mast provides more margin in crazy angles, record pop, more pumping amplitude and a wider range of use.

In Surf/SUP foiling

On this mast you can carve much harder than with the 70 cm without breaching, even on a large front wing. Absolutely perfect for hollow waves on which its length can absorb the steepness without getting overwhelmed or flirting dangerously with the surface.

This length also translates to a better pop thanks to the amplitude of the resource: ideal for back flips! The difference in projection in the air is phenomenal.

In downwinders

On a downwinder with a poorly formed swell and a large front wing, the extra 7 cm mean more margin for errors and less sneaky ventilation. You gain serenity when flying with the 77 HM without having to settle for the less playful rail to rail of an 85cm mast.

In pumping

77 cm is also ideal for dock starts from high pontoons or if you want your run to last. We clearly feel the benefits of this additional margin.

The 77 HM Mast allows an optimal amplitude for pumping. We are going to multiply the movement. You can decrease the frequency while going faster. But this isn’t 85 cm though as we keep the nervousness of a short mast if we want to pick up the pace.

In wing foiling

It’s a bit short for winging but if you only have room for one mast on a surf/wing foiling trip, it can do the job.

Technology

TORAY M40J high modulus carbon offers incredible stiffness. It is a high-end carbon that delivers high mechanical properties while remaining resistant. A carbon popular in aeronautics as well as for high-end sports equipment. Its mechanical characteristics such as its superior tensile strength and Young’s modulus make it possible to obtain exceptional performance on the water.

It just doesn’t get any better in terms of stiffness for ultra-precise feeling on the water and zero play. Your best performances, tricks or carves are bound to be done on an HM mast!
