Forget the days when a big kite barely flew in 8-10 knots and was unmanageable from 12-13 knots! The fourth generation of the Strutless 19m² allows you to fly with confidence in very light conditions, in particular thanks to the minimal drag provided by its shape without inflatable struts, and its very high aspect ratio easily tolerates an increasing wind. The steering remains smooth even at 15 knots. It handles the gusts without flinching like a foil kite whose low chord allows the power to be regulated with precision. Its depower is ultra reactive. We accelerate or we release the power on demand.
The evolutive ratios of the Strutless V4, which go from 3.8 for the Strutless 5m² to 6 for the 19m², reinforce the character of each wing in its range of use. The small sizes gain in maneuverability for kite foiling tricks or for wave riding with a surfboard, while the larger sizes benefit from a mind blowing gain in performance when flying upwind or bearing off. The strength of a high aspect ratio is to be able to make the most of the wind speed and gradually accelerate to crazy speeds in very, very light wind.
