GEAR: THE HIPE 7’5 !!!

The spectacular development of wing foiling over the past two years is particularly due to its accessibility. You don’t have to have previous watersports experience to learn wing foiling. This accessibility is made possible in particular by the availability of equipment suitable for all levels. In our range, the HIPE 7’5 is a safe option to make your beginnings easy with the smoothest progression possible.

If you have no experience in board sports, the conditions of your spot are complicated (for instance irregular winds) or you just want to give yourself comfort, the HIPE 7’5 is the most suitable choice. Choosing a board that’s too technical can make the start confusing. Take your time on a board that allows you to progress fully and comfortably. So you will be a better wing foiler when the day comes to switch to a more technical board. The transition will happen naturally.

In addition, the HIPE has enormous assets for beginnings and progress without any hassle.

First, the transport in its wheeled bag makes life super easy. It slips easily into your trunk and inflates in less than 5 minutes.

Second, it’s not afraid of shocks and provides security if you hit it. It is therefore ideal for initiating or initiating friends. Its impact resistance is also an asset for resale if you want to switch to a more technical board. It’s a board built to last. The tight prices we charge through our direct selling model also contribute to easy resale when the day comes.

ADS drift

The 6’5 and 7’5 HIPEs are equipped with the Anti Drift System or ADS. This is a fin box placed in front of the front foot intended to make your life in a wing easier.

During the first steps on a wing foil, the phases of flight during which riding upwind is facilitated thanks to the absence of friction on the water, can be rare, or even nonexistent. Therefore, there is significant drift, which may involve a long walk back to your starting point. The ADS system will greatly limit drift which will save you a painful return while carrying your equipment. Rather than walking, you will spend more time in the water and therefore progress faster. You no longer have the stress of having to fly.

In flight, the ADS fin will not affect your navigation, whether in a straight line or when taking angle in curves. If the wind drops and only flat sailing is possible, the ADS is again a great help in maintaining your course. The ADS fin is therefore not just for beginners. In addition, it allows you to erase small errors during pumping.

In SUP foil, the ADS fin helps to effectively reduce the row effect when paddling and especially when taking off. The row effect is very present on these small boards. Results: we easily take more waves, we progress more quickly, we therefore take more pleasure by optimizing each session.
