The new quick release system that equips our kite bars is also available separately and in different sizes! You therefore have the option of upgrading or renewing the quick release of your old bar with the chicken loop of the size of your choice.
Safety is still the priority for the development of this new quick release system. This new AKA3 quick release is approved by the AFNOR NF S-52 503 standard (release system on a front line, among others) and ISO 21853. The quick release is very simple to release or re-arm, including at sea of course.
Ergonomics is also at the heart of its evolution. The AKA 3 untwisting device is overmolded to absorb shocks with the bar. In addition, it untwists the fronts very easily under load with a little help thanks to its new ball bearing system.
Different sizes of chicken loop are available depending on your practice
- Size XS: ideal for waves and kite foiling. It is not equipped with a lock tube and it is only used with a sliding rope harness.
- Size S: ideal for waves, kite foils and smaller riders! It is mounted on a harness with a stainless steel hook.
- Size M: the versatile size that best meets the expectations of all practitioners.
- Size L: ideal for committed freestylers.
The assembly of this quick release on your bar is very simple. It is supplied in one piece. You will have to install it on your kite bar using an allen key.
