FORUM : GONG'S HISTORY !!!

“Hello, While doing a little sorting out of my stuff, it was to my pleasant surprise to find that my very first kite board (a directional tri-fins 7 ‘) was actually a Gong (shaped by Fred Meunier)! I had absolutely not made the link between this brand that I particularly appreciate today and this board that I had long forgotten. For the record, I bought the board in 2000 with a Kite from a competing brand in 2 lines (and yes …) I was able to take my first steps with this gear without problem and the board showed its limits only when I started to jump. One of the three fin boxes collapsed after a somewhat violent reception.
